Hi I’m having issues with my tool ( same as yours), it catches my work as I try to remove it after making a coil. Please advise what I can do.
Sometimes slotted tools get bent on the end or the sides of the slotted end get pushed together too tight. I drop mine a lot so this happens to me all the time. I usually push something between the two sides of the slotted end to separate it again carefully. You can also use your thumbnail to push your coil off your tool from the underside instead of pulling it from the top. That can help stop it from catching in the slot too.
