Cold water immersion (i.e that ice bath) post training has been found to SERIOUSLY inhibit both muscle gains and strength gains. It does limit muscle growth more than strength though so if he had a weight to fight at maaaaaaybe it would have been useful but still quite unlikely imo due to the serious strength gain reduction
and how would cold water inhibit muscle & strength gains? Are the tears in muscles automatically filled with cold water? So the body doesn't bother to repair them.. am I right?
