That home video poster for "The Crow" brings back the memories! I preordered the laserdisc at Suncoast and nearly spit out my drink when they rang me up for $80. The clerk apparently misheard me and thought I wanted the VHS, which wasn't priced for sell-through. The LD was actually half the price of the VHS. :-O
Very nice collection of one sheets. I have quite the collection myself. I just picked up a German House on Haunted Hill(1959), The Deadly Sawn, and Madhouse.
As much as I appreciate Dazed and Confused, I love Everybody Wants Some even more. In fact, I saw it 9 times in the theater during the two weeks we had it. I loved it. More people need to check it out for 80's nostalgia.
I liked it but I didn't think it was nearly as good as Dazed. However it may speak to you more like Dazed spoke to me. Capturing a moment in time that is near and dear to you personally.
I paused the video immediately when I saw the Exorcist poster to email Christopher Franchi and saw his Halloween, and Jaws too. I want them all. Thanks for the info!
Great video! For those of us who are poster collectors this was really cool. The signatures are awesome, although I could never do that! I have many and alternate displaying them in my home theater frames. My pride and joy is a Jaws one sheet. Fav movie, fav poster! Thanks for the tip on where to buy the folder.
The Crow poster with all those signatures is incredible!! Your whole collection is incredible but I’ve not seen that poster all signed up like that. Great stuff as always. Can’t wait for the next the thing with two heads podcast! Stay safe
Never had any interest in collecting film posters but this is definitely a cool collection. I'm just too finicky and want everything to be pristine when it comes to collectibles.
Awesome collection As a fellow signed movie poster enthusiast and with you being the agent to so many LEGENDARY actors, would you ever consider taking consignments for some of your clients for people to complete some of their posters? I know some companies offer private signings etc but the selection of guests can still be slim and in the absence of conventions there is even less opportunity to obtain autographs, especially if you're from the UK where even less stars appear as opposed to the plethora of conventions that take place in the US
It's just too much hassle to be honest. I usually only see my clients at the conventions or if I have a private signing set up for an autograph company but all I do is put the deal together I don't handle sales at all. And as for conventions I'm having to travel with all of the photos and banners and such for the conventions and that alone can be quite a struggle. I couldn't also bring fans personal items. Lastly the biggest reason is if something gets lost or damaged. I don't want to be responsible for fans personal items.
How Can you tell that evil dead is a reprint? That Dawn with the folds is convincing as fuck too. I’m beginning to really second guess my original one sheets I spent so much money on now haha
I have a USA re release of Empire Strikes Back from 1982, has very different artwork on it, Sean needs to add that too, I'll check out them portfolios to the UK, yeah no UK quad size yet
I've recently started picking up posters online, mostly originals, and I was shocked at how much some of them go for. About $340 for an original mint condition folded The Howling one sheet? Yikes!
If they were vintage I’d say they would be worth putting some serious time into researching but if they are semi current I’d probably try to sell them as a lot.
another great addition Sean, loving this indepth look at your posters! I had never seen the uk cartoony style for the Fast Times one and I believe the censorship sticker on your Exorcist is from Australia, in the UK at that time it would have been X or 18. thanks for the heads up on the company who make these. I will definitely have to purchase one of these, have way too many poster tubes rattling around! If you could meet Kurt Russell for a signing, would you be able to narrow one or two film posters you would want him to sign?
@@malfuncsean excellent pick! I picked up two small artworks I really like for The Thing and Death Proof, so I thought I would mount them together in one frame and have Kurt sign the framing mount or across both images. It's tough when he has an excellent filmography!
I have a giant table right under where I'm showing these posters and they stack perfectly under there and are mostly unnoticeable because the table is black and so are the portfolios. They are not on the ground either. There is a huge space under the table. It's massive. I have an acrylic case sitting on top of the table which is what the portfolios are actually sitting on in my video.
I can't wait till you get to your G section, because I know you have probably a bunch of Goonies posters, and probably signed by majority of the cast except for Mama Fratelli R.I.P.
I hate to disappoint you but I'm not a Goonies fan. I don't hate it. I just think I might have been just a bit older at the time it came out to not really relate to it.
@@malfuncsean oh ok I understand, you just better have A Nightmare On Elm Street part 2 poster, or Rusler will probably turn you into furniture, Leatherface style.
As a collector, Did you carry around a Poster Tube to most of the events? or did you do what I did - grab a freebie poster for a movie I didn't give a sh*t about and wrapped it around the real deal poster?
I used to always have a poster tube with me. Now I only bring one if I am bringing a poster to a show to be signed by a guest. I don't do it that much anymore but as a completest I will try and add a signature to one I've already started. I don't really start new posters much anymore.
@@malfuncsean Yeah, I got a Quad of a Chasing Amy poster signed in a Iron Man Stark Industries Poster Tube sitting in my closet right now. And I agree they need to put Project Greenlight Season 3 on HBO Max along with 2003's "Overnight" Doc.
I'm sure you are referring to the Feast poster. My ex-wife went to that signing with me and unfortunately they signed it to "The Clarks". oh well. I became friends with those guys soon after that signing.
@@malfuncsean Yes, from the multiple "To Clarks" on that one. LOL It wouldn't have been the oddest nickname in the world, but a strange one nonetheless!
Worst part of these videos..... they have to end. Love the collection Sean.

Great collection Sean, Escape From New York is my favorite.
Badass collection. My only original poster is british Donnie Darko quad (theater scene)
Lots of great stuff...DEAD ALIVE and Empire signed by all get the gold stars
Oooh! I have one of those Crow teaser posters framed in my bedroom.
Kool as Phuck, as always..
Nice collection
That's awesome! None of the Child's Play posters? I just saw that Project Green Light was on HBO Max!
Dragon's Liar!!!! I used to play that game at the grocery store, Krogers... many many moons ago, loved it but never made it far lol

Absolutely boss poster collection
The Exorcist is international, the R 18 rating stamp is from New Zealand

Sweet collection
I was at Monster Mania when you got
Taylor Negron to sign fast times poster, Great Poster!
I thought I had him sign it at a Fast Times screening in LA before that MM show. I know I had him sign my Better Off Dead poster at MM for sure.
Damn. That Baroque portfolio site only ships within the US.

Great movie poster collections. Where did you get the poster binder? That's very cool.
Baroque Portfolios
@@malfuncsean Thank you so much
Any tips on selling a few hundred posters? Got to take my pick before our local theater went under.

Hey Sean, amazing collection! No Duel poster
Sadly no.

Clockwork Orange was in the video before this. I was continuing the letter C in this video.
@@malfuncsean 😎my bad pal.
Incredibly jealous!
Ed Wood // Nice Posters...
Hey Sean! What's your personal opinion on getting celebs to sign original one sheets? Do you consider it damaging the original poster?
It’s totally up to personal preference.
Incredible collection Sean, do you collect lobby cards as well?
Not as extensively but yes I do own quite a few sets.
The Exorcist color poster is awesome
10:01
Star Wars The Empire Strike Back (1980) Movie Poster
3:10
Darkman (1990) Movie Poster
Sean sounding like Barry White
I'll take being compared to one of the sexiest voices in the biz.
Extremely jealous of all The Crow posters.

You’re welcome.
Do an arcade room tour
I bet no one yelled at you when you got those signed just like you yelled at me at the norman reedus line for having my phone out😂😥
You are correct! I always follow the rules of the celebrity I'm in line for. Hence no issues.
Sean no Devil Times 5 Poster
I'd love to have one.
Do your they live stuff
