I already know some people may say "Your foundation is not your color" but it is. It matches my neck and also color correcting when editing this video takes an affect on the way it looks on camera also. It also looks darker because I am covering the natural highlights in my face (which I bring back with concealer) but This is a topic for a "HOW TO CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHT" video that I will be making soon. Please STOP baking. This is what is contributing to your dry patches underneath your eyes.
All you have to do is just press your powder into your skin with your beauty blender, and wipe it away with your brush.
I would know this, I have suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper dry skin.

Right. I have super dry skin and I never baked actually but after seeing your comment I don't wanna try it anymore.
Honestly! I have combo-dry skin atm and pressing in is the best way to prevent dry patches!
munira herbert yeah baking is the worse thing to do with dry skin especially under the eyes because the skin is so sensitive. I only bake during the summer time when I get a bit more oily other than that I just lightly set my whole face with translucent powder
For years I've been thinking "everyday" makeup means that this is what they do literally everyday, like for work or school and I pretty much ruined my skin doing that. Aaliyah's skin is so flawless! I'd take dry skin any day over oily, acne prone skin.

MyKeturah that's going to something you regret the older you get. Steroids thin the skin over time and the effects are more pronounced with sun exposure. Rethink doing that PLEASE

MyKeturah you can use hydrosortisone 1% cream for 1-2 weeks at a time than put it to the side and Continue with moisturizer. it's okay to use but sparingly...
MyKeturah use a heavy moisturizer when you're feeling dry. Most ppl avoid exfoliating when they're dry but it's a necessary step to get rid of dead surface skin. This helps your serums and moisturizers to really penetrate and retain moisture deeper into your skin.
Hi aaliyah I love your videos I'm a medical student and I just wanted to mention that its not recommended that people use hydrocortisone for prolonged periods of time due to the adverse affects of long term steroid use on the body. It could cause skin thinning, stretch marks and bone thinning if used for too long. I'm sure you know what ur doing just wanted to still let you know!

on the off chance somebody that is going to try to use hydrocortisone on their face sees this... be aware that it is a steroid and over a prolonged use can thin the skin. My girls have eczema and have had it on their face. Their dermatologist prescribed a hydrocortisone mixed compound for their face so that it is diluted. She says she moisturized first so in a way she diluted. But again prolonged use can thin the skin so proceed with caution. in other words when your issue clears STOP or take a break!

I have the oiliest skin!! and the only primers that do me justice is Makeup Forever Matte Primer and also Smashbox PhotoFinish. But DO NOT wear MUF primer with nars all day luminous foundation...youll be patchy mc patch patch

You should try the la mer moisturizer, its so bomb for people with dry skin, its pricey but well worth it, makes your makeup application so smooth, at least for me, i get mine at nordstrom

noxi chill i wouldnt use mom if you have dry skin because it just sucks all the moisture and natural oils out of your face and you will be left with a cake face, la mer is exspensive but i swear by it because i have eczema and its worked wonders for my makeup application, i can get past the hefty price tag if it works for my dehydrated skin lol! which it does

No I don't use it daily. I only use it sometime!
My twins have it as well the peditrican said not to use it daily because the kids skin is so thin on the face that cream can thin their skin out more. It actually burned my son's skin😣
Please don’t use steroid creams or ointment. It is the worst. As someone who had horrible eczema all over my body for 18+ years, I can attest to the skin getting addicted to the steroid. This has the term of TSW which translates to Topical Steroid Withdrawal. When you stop using the steroid, the flare comes back with a vengeance, usually worse then the flare you wanted to get rid in the first place. What saved my skin was TATCHA. Their Indigo Collection was my skins savior and my eczema has disappeared completely. I and many other people have seen our skin change right before our eyes and the reviews on TATCHA’s website are the proof. Please look into them and I hope this helps.
