  • The Cannondale Moterra SL and Mondraker Dune XR both offer lots of travel at fairly low weights for the eMTB category, but they accomplish that in very different ways.
In this Head-to-Head video, Blister editors Simon Stewart and Dylan Wood compare and contrast these two eMTBs, discuss what sorts of riders will get along best with each one, and (try to) decide which one they'd each personally pick.

The Cannondale seems like the more well rounded bike for most people. I was hesitant about purchasing it due to the peculiar geometry but it’s good to know it rides very well.

I'd like to see this format with regular bikes

Very nice comparison. 2 interesting bikes from the point of view of a gen 1 Kenevo SL owner.
It would have perhaps been good to also try it with a more grippy rear tyre on the Cannondale I guess for the climbing test.
But. I couldn’t stop looking at your helmet strap Simon. Is it really safe like that?
Lots of riders will be copying you two bike gurus. Just asking, as I was always told to do up the strap and try pull the helmet off front and back or to one side . You did mention crashing a lot, so maybe it’s ok for you?

I’m not aware of a range extender option for the C-Dale

Correct. Shimano does not have a range extender.

I'm 183cm and plan to size down to a M on the Dune with a 40mm stem. I feel like most reviewers are a size too big on the Mondrakers because reviewers who have tried both M and L, tend to prefer the smaller Dune.

Would a Large Moterra SL fit a 6’2 person? XL seems way out of bounds for me, especially wheelbase and reach. Even seat tube and 490 is very high

I would like to know how the Amflow PL Carbon Pro will compare against this two bikes.
