Back to the Beginning - Barney Harwood (CMC 2022)

Barnaby “Barney” Harwood is a British actor and television presenter. He is known for his work with CBBC beginning in 2002. We go back to the beginning with Barney to hear how he became a face on children’s TV.

Barney is right.
With reference to children's TV, quality is always better than quantity.
I'm glad my 27 and 24 year old sons grew up at a time when cbbc was producing really good quality children's content.
I think Barney was so successful, especially as a presenter, was the fact that unlike the presenters of my childhood viewing(54) he talked to the kids watching like you would if they were just another family member.
There was no condescending tone, which my kids loved about him.
His acting and presenting career has been a big part of their childhood.
I met Barney yesterday, and he is one of the most genuine and nice people you could meet.
I'm glad to see he is still working around visual media, albeit on the other side of the camera.
He is multi-talented and deserves every success.
He is totally unchanged by fame.
I hope he has a long and successful career behind the camera.
