Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.
Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.
You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the CtOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.
THE CITY IS OUR WEAPON
Watch_Dogs takes place in a fully simulated living city. Using Aiden's smartphone, you have real-time control over the city's infrastructure. Trap your enemy in a 30-car pileup, created by manipulating the traffic lights. Stop a train, and then board it to evade the authorities. Narrowly escape capture by quickly raising a drawbridge. Anything connected to the ctOS can become your weapon.
STREET JUSTICE
Living in inner city Chicago, where violence is often answered by violence, Aiden has learned how to take the fight to the streets. Deliver brutalizing blows with your baton, or experience electrifying shoot-outs with physics simulation that rivals anything in the shooter category. Throughout his journey, Aiden will take on his foes with more than 40 weapons.
HIGH OCTANE DRIVING
Luckily, Aiden won't always need to traverse Chicago's streets on foot. Ubisoft Montreal has partnered with studios such as Ubisoft Reflections, the acclaimed team behind the award-winning Driver series, to provide a suite of vehicles bursting with horsepower. You'll get behind the wheel of more than 65 cars -- each with state-of-the-art physics and handling -- to explore Chicago's vast and intricate roadways.
DYNAMIC NAVIGATION
Not only does Watch_Dogs give you the ability to take advantage of the ctOS, it also allows you to explore the many layers of Chicago itself. Cut through buildings, scale rooftops, and explore the city's dangerous underground to catch your target.

This game was pretty well done in my opinion. The dark feeling combined with the story had me feeling lonely and never safe. It was almost depressing what was going on in the world. That's probably how Aiden was feeling which is what immersed me in the plot.

But remember that she didn't even knew him when he was searching for him, she even says that when she found out about her niece's death she felt bad and wanted to fix things

@Dark One I enjoyed it personally. It's a good amalgamation of the first two games. Serious story balanced with humor. And the gameplay mechanics are fun. It's not as emotional as 1 because no central protagonist but it's a good game

I refuse to believe she died. He didn't check her pulse. He didn't even take her to a hospital or treat her. She got shot in the shoulder and the upper right back. and with the advanced technology they have at that time he could've had a high chance of reviving her. BS. it could've been Aiden, Clara, and T-bone in the end. The 3 vigilantes.

the reason aiden couldn't take her to the hospital is because he's a criminal. he would get arrested trying to help her. he could to what t-bone did in one of the bad blood dlc missions and call 911 and bail, but I'm pretty sure she might be considered enough of a criminal to be arrested...idk.. it still makes me sad that both WD1 and WD2 have to have a good character that dies. RIP Clara and Horatio

I still don't get it. your mission is to "race to save Clara" but in the end you'll just watch her die in front of you. It's really the saddest part of the game. - I was thinking that there were two scenario's just like in GTA, saving clara and not saving clara but only one part exist.

The power of "not a cutscene"
That's what makes him such a great character. He completely shut himself out from the world around him when Lena died. However, the keyboard warriors naturally view this as lack of character progression. He kills, and justifies it with the death of his niece. The gameplay start 11 months after the death of Lena. Who knows how much he had destroyed himself in that short amount of time. We end up seeing the fallout of his choice though. With Aiden sitting in a beat up car in Chicago in Watch_Dogs legion, probably homeless and nowhere to really go. To this day, Aiden Pearce is one of the most human characters Ubisoft has ever put into a game, if not the most human.
Fr, my favourite gaming character of all time, the ending mission in legion where Jackson goes into Aiden's brain to resurrect him gives the complete reason why he's the way he is

Clara's death broke my heart. Because i had a crush on her even though she's not real. Also I really wanted her and Aiden to be shipped together towards the end. This game is so cruel. I also raged really hard after watching her die, because I was so emotionally connected to her in this game.

This was the moment I got the headshot 10 people achievement, I was pissed that Clara died, and wanted to kill everyone who had a weapon in this game. Looking back at the game, I still love it.

the piano notes playing during the whole thing, even when Aiden was shooting fixers. it got to me easily. i got so depressed that day i couldnt even eat. it was a devestating, but i guess developers wanted the players to feel what Aiden felt all the time..
Man this mission ending...felt underwhelming. Its the weird fact that Aiden just walks away leaving Clara there. It would have been good to make the scene fade to black and jump to a scene where Aiden is now in front of her grave while listening to her audios and have a few moments of silence before walking away or as soon as we take Clara's phone, Aiden hears the sirens of ambulances and cops which makes him rush to escape probably encountering some paramedics rushing to Clara as you leave the cemetery would be good but Aiden is just...fuck it, I'll walk back and the police or ambulance is nowhere in sight like sir? There was a shootout at a cemetery.

Mr. Baby it was Lucky Quinn who ordered the hit (it can be implied Damien tipped off Quinn’s hit men Clara’s whereabouts) because according to Quinn’s Audio Log, he terminated his association with Clara and ordered her death because she’s having a change of heart.

watch dogs is not next gen. It is a cross gen playable for ps3, ps4, xboxone, 360 and pc.
And I hope Ubisoft will take their time on the next watch dogs game for next gen consoles. Imo, I hope they'll improve on these things;
-Phenomenal graphics
-Dialogs
-Better hacking (other than just holding down the Square button to hack)
-Better stealth with hacking
-Better gun sound effects
-A good story
-Better online hacking
-More walk interiors
-Avoid glitches
-And 1080p and 60fps!!!!! xD

So I did some research on my pc and broke the game to save her *mission accomplished* but there's no cutscene and she just sits there with the gun in hand.

So, I actually had to replay Clara's death a few times when I played th game because I was aiming for the trophy where you kill 4 guys during focus mode and it was most convenient in this chapter. Since it took me multiple times I had to watch Clara die every time because it's such a short scene I couldn't skip it and I don't know if it was a bug or what, but like, some of the times I replayed the piece, the layer containing Clara's face (makeup, eyebrows, piercings, shading, etc.) would mysteriously disappear and when I first saw it I was like, "... So this is what she looks like without makeup."
