- In the final episode Artie invites back lots of his old friends and reminisces on the show and the DirecTV show. Mike garners a comparison to Michael Jordan. Then Mike goes to Montreal with Artie for his last reading of the weather.

I bite my teeth every time Mike does that during the cat voicemails. Such an absolute simplord.
It's sad this was the last one but too many stole his podcast.. I wish artie gets better because his days are numbered..
Supposedly their business partners who made the website ripped them off too, and stole most the $. It was easily my favorite podcast. 😣

Jamie Jackson It was talked about on the Artie Quitter subreddit. To be honest I don't know if they had good info. or were speculating based on the fact Artie referenced the podcast barely making $ all the time and then losing $ at the end. He was around 10k subs the last 2 years of show. It's like Artie's bookie or dealer told him to just let him handle the subscription payments, so he wouldn't make a late payment. The whole thing didn't make much sense, so it's probably a lot of guessing.
It was probably good that it ended. Artie was clearly a lot worse off than when he started the podcast. It was hard to listen to him with his nose problems. Plus he would just ramble on and on, repeat jokes and stories and was a lot more mean spirited with guests. It’s too bad because he held it together for a long time.

I know he’s dead (and nobody should ever “speak ill of the dead”) but I found Cotton so goddamn annoying. His laugh, his crow barred jokes, pretty much everything he said/did was grating to me…
