The first ‘talks’ guest is the one and only queen of dancefloor heartbreak, Robyn - One of the things that has made me such a huge fan of Robyn over the years is the love she has for underground dance music and club culture. Her broad knowledge of electronic music is evident across everything she does - from the instrumental choices in her music, to the people she chooses to remix her records, and even the records she chooses to play in her DJ sets. We spoke about how this has influenced her creative process, her first experiences of club culture, and her hopes for post pandemic clubbing.

Robyn created this experience for me when she did the release of Honey and had the RedBull competition to win tickets with the mobile game. I was lucky enough to win and travel to Stockholm. Robyn had boats to transport all of the fans and winners to a secret location, when we arrived we walked through a lit up woodland it was very airy. It was the most surreal thing I have experienced. Then the show happened and it was just a dream. We then got transported to an after party with free goodies. I will never ever ever ever ever ever forget.

omg Ive loved her since the 90s too! i'm American and I was a huge fan boy at 11 years old, and I remember wondering what happened to her after she put out her first album which was really big here and it just seemed like she disappeared, and then i remembered i looked her up online in like 2005 and i was like WTF HAPPENED TO HER!? she just seemed so different stylistically, and she was, but she really hasnt lost the heart and the infectious nature shes always created within her songs
