- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia has begun an all-out offensive in the east. In his latest video, the Ukrainian leader said that the Russian military has begun the battle for the Donbas. Malcolm Nance, executive director of the Terror Asymmetrics Project, joins us from Ukraine, where he is fighting with the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.

From South Africa there's no a day that I don't check up on this war it's sad what is happening in this day and age.
Just to say hello to you from here in this safe country Canada. The suffering of all of the innocents worldwide is enormous and it is difficult to go through the daily things as a Mother and Grandmother knowing the agony of other souls lives. It saddens me even more as a grandmother. To leave this world soon and to see the hopes' of all of us after WW11 and the founding of so many things to try to make a better world after that horror. Bless you and keep you and your own country and it's people safe.🇨🇦

Ukrainians treat them as second class citizens, and the instance you cite is just one of many. When citizens flee war-torn areas en masse, Africans are forced to walk as buses and trains take ethnic Slavs.
You have to admit those Ukrainians in Mariupol are some of the bravest humans and going on over 50 days with no food/water resupply, no ammo resupply, watching their city get taken block by block while they do their best to buy time for the rest of their country. They're like todays Spartans.

He has experience in training prisoners of war how to survive and much counter-terrorism experience. He is the kind of person they will be happy to have on their side. I haven't heard from Malcolm for awhile. He is not a young man trying to be a mercenary, Rather he is a very skilled individual that is sharing his knowledge for the betterment of the Ukrainian people. I retired from the military and was in intelligence (like my Father) (and Malcolm) and have the utmost respect for Senior Chief Nance.
This is not a show by Malcolm strutting around in his battle rattle. He is the real deal and them some. I hope he can give updates to the world as well as the intelligence community, and eventually write a book about his experiences in Ukraine.
