Lilo, Kashif, Melba Moore, and Freddie Jackson I loved them all!!!! .. SAY SOMETHING LOVE and RUMORS were 2 of my favorites by him. Used to listen 🎶 to his music during deployments while at sea in the NAVY!!!! REST IN POWER KING AS I STILL LISTEN TO THIS DAY!!!!
Your beautiful songs will let you alive through our ears and hearts eternally. You were one of the bests of the eighties but the one missing in music funky universe. god bless you RIP Brother..
I just discovered his funk jams this year and bump his jams loud in the streets of L.A. sorry to see that he is no longer with us. God bless his soul. He is missed. And a middle finger 🖕 to whoever dislikes this video.
Kashif one of my favourite artists. Thank you so much for the music....Stone Love, Lover turn me on, Are you the woman, condition of my heart just to name a few. Rest in Paradise😂😂😂!!!
Los Angeles Sentinel Newspape staff, thank for showing Kashif love with your presence and creating and sharing phenomenal video testimonies from some of Kashif's friends and family! He was an amazing person. We love you. RIP Kashif
I'm jamming Kashif right now and I'm feeling it. The fact that he did alot for Foster children and their care is outstanding and remarkable. Look out for the children the most vulnerable population around.
We don´t forget you you were a great behind the greats like George Benson (INSIDE LOVE) for example...my daughter, 20 years old, continues to look for all the productions you have done and so will continue to honour your work and your memory...
My God!!! I remember being 13 yrs old or younger and listening to Kashifs music!! This Brotha was unique and had a sound all of his own. As the years passed, I recall talking with the Real Music Heads about old school music and when we spoke about Kashif, we would really go in on how dope he was. There is really no other way to put it Kashif was / is that DUDE! His sound will never be forgotten and his records will always remind me of back in the day, growing up in Rochester, NY, listening to WDKX, when music was music!! Its all messed up now and steadily declining...the least talented artists get ALL of the recognition (bruno mars, cardi b, fergie... I could go on and on) Thank God for Kashif😌 Cause at least some of us know what real music is. Pove i 4ever Brotha✊
His real name was Mark Brown. I met him in NYC in 1982 when he was working on the Evelyn Champagne King record. He wrote a terrific book on music production, if you can find a copy I highly recommend it. RIP brother, I'm glad we got to work together.
He still records and performs all over the world and spends a lot of time in England, where his brand of smooth and silky dance music still has an audience.
When I read about his death in 2016 I dropped my phone. No artist death has ever affected me the way Kashif's has. This one still hurts to this day. My daughter Brittany was born in 1988 and she tells people had she been a boy her name would have been Brandon Kashif. Continue to Rest in Peace.

Whatever happened to Freddie Jackson or Alexander O'Neill
He still records and performs all over the world and spends a lot of time in England, where his brand of smooth and silky dance music still has an audience.

Heart attack. His neighbor found him. RIP
