  • Introducing the Yadea Elite Prime Electric Scooter, possibly the most comfortable electric scooter of 2023! It's a premier choice for urban commuting, blending quality, comfort, and performance. With a motor power of 800W (peaking at 1500W), the Yadea Elite Prime Scooter delivers a top speed of 18.6MPH and a fantastic 40-mile range on a single charge. Its strong lightweight aluminum frame, front and rear polymer suspension, 10” self-healing tires, and a fall prevention feature have earned it the title of the "SUV of electric scooters."
The Yadea Elite Prime offers three speed modes, plus a 4th "X" mode for enhanced acceleration, which becomes available after riding 1km. This feature, along with the scooter's 46.8Volt, 14.5Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and charge time of 7-8 hours, make it the best electric scooter for commuting. Other specifications include a weight capacity of 246lbs, IPX5 rating, front drum brake, rear mechanical disc brake, electronic braking, headlights, taillights, blinkers, IOS and Android smart applications, 30° hill climb angle, 12-month warranty, and a price of $1499.99.
The scooter package includes the Yadea Elite Prime Electric Scooter itself, charger, hex tool kit, air hose extender, screws for installing handlebars, and instruction manuals. While touted as the best electric scooter 2023, the Yadea Elite Prime Scooter isn't without its flaws. The steering can wobble at top speeds, the top speed might feel slow for some, the rear disc brakes may be noisy, the app needs improvement, and some settings don’t stick. However, these cons are easily outweighed by the pros.
The Yadea Elite Prime Electric Scooter boasts high build quality with top-notch parts, an incredibly quiet and maneuverable ride, a respectable 40-mile range, thrilling X mode acceleration, and smooth polymer suspension. In this Yadea Elite Prime review, we conclude that it stands as a robust option for city dwellers or those needing a reliable commuting tool. The quality, performance, and features blend perfectly, offering a worthwhile investment for those looking for the best electric scooter for commuters.

nice review! I got one on pre-order. Just wondering about the x-mode... once unlocked, do you have to use the phone app to unlock this mode every time, or can you just access x-mode on the scooter itself, without a phone? Thanks 👍

Awesome! You will love it! Yes once you enable it once in the app it's available to change on the scooter by itself. Thanks for watching my friend!

The warranty isn't 12 months on everything - for instance, 3 months on the suspension only, which is a slight worry. Defaulting to km is clearly a bug but not defaulting to X mode could be deliberate (safety - just in case you didn't realise that's the mode it was starting in). Great review, thanks - unlike some reviewers you understand that safety and legality are prime factors in the design. Did I say "Prime"?!

Why is the - for the offered performance - extremely high weight (62 pounds, 28kg) of the scooter not mentioned with a single word?

I'm trying to understand your question. Are you saying for the performance (speed I guess) why is it so heavy? Weight is not about speed but more of the size of the scooter and batteries inside for range. This is a FULL SIZE scooter not a small commuter. Yes it only goes 20mph but that is the max speed in a lot of countries so we are limited by that. It has a longer range than smaller 20mph commuter scooters so that adds weight because it has more batteries.

@@HobartsReviews That was a very simple question: Why was the weight of the scooter not mentioned at all in the review? In terms of portability, I think the weight of a scooter is an important factor.

I have one, it's really nice except for it defaults to KM every time you ride it. Ride quality is very impressive and I have a Nami Klima, the ride quality is every bit as good. I really wish it were dual motor for better climbing and had a 25mph top speed, it'd be worth the retail price but it's really a $800 scooter, a very nice one...

Yeah I wish it would save settings. I like the ride quality too but also wish it went a little faster. Thanks for watching friend!

    Very good but too slow

Yeah they just raised the top speed to 20mph which is better but I agree it's slow. BUT the way the steering is made really loose for maneuverability....you would get bad speed wobbles if it went 30 or 40mph. So while slow it's fast enough for the city riding it's meant for.
