Yeah, that is true, but I think there is a meaningful difference in how that's achieved. In both of your examples, the WP site is essentially turned into a static version of your WP theme, which means you can't really use another framework to do the rendering/serving. Maybe that's all you need, but it doesn't allow people to build sites with the same tools (Next.js vs. Elementor), so some folks trend towards a more decoupled approach that lets them use the frontend tools they want. I think it's great that there are so many options, and with the focus on performance happening in WordPress core, it makes platforms like the ones you mention even more effective. But for some use cases and teams, they benefit from building the frontend in a totally different toolset. Thanks for watching and commenting. I knew about Strattic, but hadn't heard about Hardypress :) Cheers - JE
We don't have any content about Tailwind in the backlog at the moment, but if there is interest we can take it to the team. I'm sure someone in our Discord community might have some answers: discord.com/invite/J2khkF9XYK Thanks for watching!
There are platforms that offer headless wordpress out of the box, such as Strattic or Hardypress.
