  • This is a brief tutorial on how to install an SR I - 500 motorcycle alarm on to a 2015 Yamaha r3. It is not meant to substitute the actual installation manual or any documentation that comes with the alarm, it's only meant to let you know what you would be facing.

UPDATE: In Febrary of 2022 I was washing this bike and the alarm caught on fire. I had to quickly remove it from the bike and I wound up ripping up a bunch of wiring. I repaired the wires and was in the process of looking for a replacement alarm when this bike was stolen in April of 2022.

this was not a how to... just the results of you doing it. I want to get an alarm system for my R3 but this seems like to much of a hassle.

+HeroofSomething That would probably be why I put in the description It's not meant to substitute the actual installation manual." Its called a "brief overview" for a reason. So you can see what's involved. And you were able to see what was involved so I think I did what I said I'd do.
