I know cars vibrate a lot especially on long trips. If you had this under the hood, with an item like a valuable watch inside, wouldn't the vibrations loosen all the bolts and inner workings. Especially for long distance trips?
No because a thread locker is used to ensure no loosening or “backing out” occurs.
