Wonderful tip, Shay. Honestly, I have considered the initial cost of parts of my system but haven't really considered "the cost to stay in my system." i do make a planner budget, BUT lol. Thank you for your great tip and I am so happy to have you as part of the 25 this year. Also, i was so nervous my first time on camera I almost threw up 😂😂.
I saw 'day 15' and thought 'she did 14 other days? How did I miss those?' 😂 I've been a planner person for a couple of decades so I have a core collection of binders and punches (disc/ring bound/TN). I can switch between styles with only paper and ink being the cost. Times are hard and I don't have the extra money to spend on all the new planner styles/stickers/new binders/subscriptions/etc. I make do with what I've got. Anyone starting out can buy almost out of date 2024 planners this month and just redate them. It's a bit of work but it's an affordable recycle option. Good video! You did a great job. 🎉
Thanks for watching! Yes, so many ways to get around spending tons of money, but for the "newbies" out there, it can be an expensive rabbit hole to fall into! All the collaborators had some additional great tips as well. I wished I had this series as a reference point when I first started out! I would have saved boat loads of money and frustration trying to figure out what I wanted to use!
OMG. You don't want to know how much I spent in 2024 on planner stuff, prep and during the year. Definitely downsizing and switching it up for 2025 and keeping it budget friendly.
@blackgirlhappyplanner3482 I hear ya! I'm going into 2025 definitely on a no spend. I'm shooting for 100 consecutive days of no spend. Hopefully, it will become a habit, and stick lol! So much in my stash that I need to use, repurpose, or donate. Thank you for watching!

Its a very important thing to consider before switching. $$$$! Thank you.
I agree, it's important to plan for the financial aspects of switching!
This was fantastic! You look so pretty Shay!! What an excellent tip for all planners! Well done my friend! ❤
Awhhh thank you Lisa! Glad you enjoyed. I'm super shy, so this was a biggie for me.
Haha! I was a total wreck! I can't tell you how many times i recorded the video, and edited it lol!😅
Really good tips thanks

I refuse to answer that question love, lol. I bought 4 planner covers between November and December alone. So, nope, not gonna add it up, lmbo.
