The strongest evidence in favor of this being a signal of SooJin's eventual return is laying there in plain sight: SoYeon and the other members aren't stupid. They PUT all of those hints in the MV and they knew EXACTLY how Neverland was going to react to them. So either they were just f***ing with fans to get them all riled up for no reason (something that doesn't fit their MO, to use the investigator's parlance) or they intended Nevies to have exactly the reaction they did. Contractually they can't come out and say, "CUBE sucks, SooJin was railroaded and as soon as we can we're leaving CUBE and bringing SooJin back." But they CAN drop hints that are less and less veiled as time goes by, because if CUBE tries to stop them they can just sit on SoYeon's mountain of songs and keep CUBE from making a penny.
There has never been a shred of evidence that the members cut ties with SooJin - the fact that they have referenced her and OT6 over and over since the end of their hiatus suggests just the opposite. I STRONGLY suspect that SoYeon and SooJin have been plotting their post-CUBE plans for YEARS, and that it's no coincidence that SooJin made her public return in late 2023 as a step toward the eventual reunion, with "Revenge" being another step forward. The members couldn't stop CUBE from throwing SooJin to the wolves three years ago, but now, with the group raking in millions of dollars and the clock ticking down on their contracts, the group has become so successful and powerful that now it is CUBE that can't stop THEM.

Exactly what I was thinking! For Soojin's label to debut her, being small and new, it was a risky bussiness move so why would a company risk it all? We know Soyeon was spotted with a PNation card during the hiatus but because nothing came of it and they seem friendly, almost everyone forgot about it. But what if Soyeon really had been lobbying for a label to set an OT6 reunion the moment their contracts expire? She could have simply foreseen PNation was a label who was only good in theory and not practise and continued her search elsewhere.
The girls could have been easily been planning it with Soojin's label: Soojin's solo debut so the public could warm up to her and the girls hyping the reunion throughout their CUBE releases. With the group's status and the things they could bring to the table it would be stupid not to debut Soojin and get all 6 diamonds in the bag. Shuhua already teased they weren't going to resign, before Soojin's solo debut so they could have easily been planning it for a long time.
I think in most normal countries, Soojin's return to (G)I-DLE is a normal thing, only in Korea it is difficult.

Absolutely! I've seen people saying the same thing about "why would Cube let them do that?", but there really isn't much they can do about it. They can't write, compose, or produce songs for them because it just wouldn't be (G)I-dle without Soyeon's finger on everything. They can't force her to not drop hints, especially when there's always some plausible deniability worked in.
Realistically, we can't be 100% sure if anything, but the hints are piling up
I agree with you on the idea that the items are metaphors. However, they are all used to DEFEND Soojin, not attack her. MY interpretation, the pen is used to write lyrics in I-Dle songs that fight back against haters/netizens. The match represents the i-Burn album (which was themed about loss of a loved on and trying to regain happiness afterwards), The guitar is the music they create and use to fight haters. The gas represents the proverbial middle finger I-Dle use to fan flames of controversy higher. Soyeon cleans up the mess afterwards, which leaves her stained, but she has a look of determination regardless.
Lastly, the comment at the end of this video about the hole is EITHER the keyhole everyone peeks through to watch the drama unfold, OR a microscope people use to scrutinize the group. Obviously, this is MY interpretation.

The hole is most probably a keyhole. There's an article saying how Soojin kept herself inside her room when the controversy happened.

As much as idle perform as a group of 5 ill always see them as a group of 6. Yuqi confirmed in an interview they have a year and 3 months left which probably means the day they debuted is the day their contract ends
In reality Aedeul are heart broken since she left not only that...its not easy to carry on because the 6 are very close bonding. The girls knows pretty well that pain really cut through our nevies heart. I feel really greatful the girls not only continue their hardwork but they want to heal our broken heart together

I feel like them releasing this video was absolutely intentional. It almost feels like it should've been released before the MV as a teaser, but it hits more that we're getting the full story and context of the MV after release to put the pieces together, like Investigator Shuhua was. Like you said, this helps feed the delulu minds, like mine!😆I've been trying to dissect the MV and Case File since they both came out and there's so much going on. I have so many mental bullet points about it all but I've been holding it in for the sake of maybe seeming a bit sane haha
CUBE has to decide on the group leaving and 65% of CUBE's net worth leaving with them(was 50% this time last year). OR they do whatever Soyeon tells them to do. We know who has the power.

I myself NEVER gave up on our Soojin, and the wait was worth it to see her solo debut. Once my ult bias, ALWAYS my ult bias. 😁
My hopes for an OT6 return will be either regrouping under BRD or Soyeon creating her own company. I would also like to add rebranding their name to what Soyeon initially wanted being just i-DLE. Cube can take the rights to (G)I-Dle since all they did was add the (G) to the name. After all, that's how they first introduced themselves as i-DLE. The G was always silent. They only been accepting the sounding of the G because of international fans saying it.
I'm POSITIVE there ARE interactions btwn the 6 girls somehow maybe through phone calls and txt msgs and I WILL believe that. Soojin and Shuhua were best friends during their time together and I believe there's NO DOUBT that they still talk with each other. As time went on, the delusion became a reality and I love that for them and for us!
Plus SoYeon and SooJin were close friends pre-debut - SooJin appeared in both "Jelly" and "Idle Song" MVs and after (G)I-DLE debuted and SoYeon became the group's principal songwriter/producer, SooJin did most of the "traditional" leader duties behind the scenes while SoYeon focused on creating comebacks.
Guys i would also be really happy if soojin would come back but you cant forget there was also once a trainee named siwoo who where training with them and one day she just got suddenly pulled out of a dance lesson and she was never seen again, originally they were 7

@@harharrr9810 Kookielit made a video about it, but I haven't seen it as Kookielit is known for trying to stir up drama especially around (G)I-DLE so it's probably filled with over-exaggerated stuff.

Actually, if you pay attention, the narrator is Soojin as she adresses all the other 5 girls like they are different people then the narrator, and they said they joint the 5 girls as their final accomplice. @Vektorix28205 left a good comment that I responded to as an addition to their train of thought about an OT6 reunion. I think it's a pretty good theory we've got.
