  • Climbing Grossglockner (Austria's tallest mountain) via the stüdlgrat route in June of 2023. We did the push from car to car in around 23 hours. The first day we arrived at 4PM to the parking lot and hiked up to Stüdlhütte where we stayed for the night. Highly recommend the hut... great dinner and super clean. We woke up at 4am and started our ascent at 5am. Reaching the summit precisely at 9:50am. We then descended down the normal route and got tea at Erzherzog Johann Hütte. From there we crossed down the glacier back to Stüdlhütte, got our stuff, and hiked back down to the parking lot reaching it at about 2:35pm. Recommend!
