I found your analysis quite well thought out. I am hoping to use these cheap sensors to help me measure changes in liquid density by way of time delta to penerate liquid. I would also split the tx and rx sensors (by using two boards) and have the sensors on opposite sides of the vessel. I dont know if the sensors will penerate a liquid or simi-solid. Do you this will work? Can I up the power on the TX to do this?
I'm trying to make a project for a subject in my Uni for error measurement and hardware analysis and i was wondering if you can provide some more information about your project like what you measured and how are you planning to make the envelope detection circuit .Any other papper you suggest reading ?
Hi, great work can you upload or provide the link of part 2 of this video [ which is envelope detection circuit ]
why use two devices? Why not just read the ping against a solid surface?

Hi Robert. Any luck in figuring out how these sensors can be used to measure liquid density? Thanks!
