I love her. She is amazing! I watched hee on 227, Boyz-n-the-hood, Poetic Justice, etc. She has come a long way and may God continue to bless and keep her.
I met her briefly in passing years ago. I made a total fool of myself because all I could utter was "I love you so much!" When she shook my hand. She smiled and said thank you. She is just as lovely in person. I'm sure she thought I was a crazy person, but he face never let on.
@@navajo237 and if she has used Botox, why does it matter? Her job for the majority of her life has been in front of the camera, which means that her appearance is important. Add to that, she takes good care of her body, has highly melanated skin which lends itself to a more youthful appearance, but using products and techniques to help your face to look youthful is not a sin.

I have loved her ever since 227 with Marla Gibb. So happy to see her get the recognition she deserves. She is amazing and the sky is the limit for her brilliance and talent❣️She is memorable in every role she plays, so versatile. One of my all time favorite actors. 🥰😍
People always reference If Beale Street Could Talk and Watchmen, but they hardly ever talk about The Boondocks. I think that show really shows her insane talent. She's incredible!
This is how I was introduced to her. I wasn't surprised that she she voiced Huey and Riley as young boys. After all, Nancy Cartwright and Tara Strong had been doing it long before her. But the fact that she slipped so seamlessly between such different personas on the same show, often interacting with each other, was mind-blowing to me when I found out.
Pretty sure the first thing i saw King in was "Southland" and she was downright amazing in it. And everything else iv seen her in she's been perfect, loads of talent in her.
You may be pretty young but didn't you see "Ray" or "Friday"? Personally, that's what I remember first seeing her in and then probably, "Boondocks" but I feel like I watched "Southland" too because the OC guy was in it I think and I felt like he was the worst actor lol
@@Shan2TheBoner1987 Im sure i saw Friday at some point but didnt recognize her in it, same with Ray. Never saw Boondocks (no cable). Southland was the first thing i saw her in that i recognized her for who she was and took notice.

Regina King was way better in the Adult Swim's classic animated comedy series, The Boondocks. I haven't seen her in years since the show was canceled and never did reboot it ever since.
She looks like she forgot about this interview, grabbed a curtain from the window at the last minute and made it into a toga. In other words, a goddess.
I feel terrible but when I see her I only think of Riley Freedman. I’m so sorry. And I’ve known about her since the 227 days. Still, only Riley. Can I borrow a French fry, tho.
No offense, but I get really bored of SNL people talking about SNL all the time, be it Seth or Conan or whomever. I get it was a part of their career, but it's not a necessary part of every second interview
People can criticized whatever they want, especially if it sucks. The cast feels like it's mostly the untalented children of the rich & powerful 🤔 The news part is the only good segment.

I so love Regina King! She is awesome in every way.
Just closing my eyes and tryna imagine how she voiced both Huey and Riley in the Boondocks. Man! She is so talented.
