Pretty crazy that river goes under Munich and was built in 1789, with a diverter off the Isar river and most of it underground, and its source river, the Isar comes from a spring in the mountains of Austria over 53 miles away.
@@smelltheglove2038 please try and pay attention. That's what I said that they've only been surfing there for 40 years.. even though the river has been there far longer..
@@Turbo_Tastic back then it was only surfable a few weeks in a year because it only turned into a wave when sediments and water level played along. The wave like it is today only exists since 2010 when they set in concrete ramps and tolerated surfing
It's really knowing how to look for natural luck and coordinating a superficial style of human resource and funtivity supports that glad domain balance creditizes.
Hei Blair you should visit Thun (Switzerland). We actually have 2 waves here. Both of them are sick but one of them is super unique and very rippable due to fast flowing water.
cool! and a perfect example for surfing a river without leash! It is not recomandet to river surf with leash on your ankel joint. If the leash get caught under water you have no!! chance to open it. Don t risk your life, No leash in the river.
Sup skid kids🤘I love your videos and I know a location where you would love to surf. It is tofino on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada where I live
Iconic!!! This "spot" has been surfed for decades!!! Awesome!!!
So nice to see people all over the world getting to enjoy what so few of us did in the 50's. Wherever you get to ride waves it's a blessing.
Thanks team for posting, nice time spent watching y’all, thinking ya made the locals happy , stay safe and healthy people 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤟🏼🤙🏼🖖🏼

even more crazy that it took until 40 years ago for anyone to surf it, what were they all doing from 1789 to 1984?
It's beautiful
@@Turbo_Tastic that’s a bit more than 40 years.
