Hope your daughter is better! Schools are closed in America so I totally understand what you mean about not having craft time! 🤪. Great finds from Alina. Your cards are cute. 🥰
If I get "bad" stamps on aliexpress, if the ink wint stick or if the lines arent the greatest I condition them by taking a nail file and lightly sand them and test them then do it a little more until I'm satisfied. It's a permanent fix you dont have to keep doing it and ANY ink will stick. I also take pics of before and after and post on my reviews so other buyers know about the quality and how to fix
Think the style you were thinking of is Steampunk which is one of my favourites! Talking of ink I find the Versa fine is brilliant when I use other brands and have problems I ink up my stamp with a layer of Versamark (the clear sticky ink) then the ' problem ' ink on top. Can be a bit hit and miss but can make a big difference when it works.
YES!!!! Steampunk!!!!! that is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you :) And yes the clear embossing ink first is a great trick. I was finding it didnt work on everything though and i liked that i didnt have as much faff as i only need one ink pad rather than 2 😂
The blue Tombow can do that to paper being a liquid. Love the idea of labelling for your ideas. I'm stealing your idea. Hope your little one fully recovers. That wind sure was making some noise out there.
yea it's hard to work out what glue is best for what. I wish we had access to some of the great glues from the States. The wind has been so hectic for the whole week, i just cant believe it
Great to see you back! :-) Your cards turned out really pretty. / I'm going to order some of those new "jewles" from alina. It's hard to really tell what they look like just form the website, so Thank you for showing them. I hope your little one gets better quickly. And oooh, that wind!!!! I could hear it! WOW. Looking forward to your next video. :-)
Thank you so much for the compliments. It's so hard knowing if my videos are ok. I really really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a nice message :)
Hello Sasha, I just found your channel. I was wondering if anyone told you that a card base in the USA is 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. I love tape (glue) runners but haven't looked for any on Ali yet. Hopefully your back to your usual crafty place by now. Thanks for sharing
Love the versafine ink pad too 💗 and you should try versafine clair and I think you love that too 😊 by the way beautiful haul loved everything 😁💗 and that circle die with (the second one) you can run s ribbon through it which will look cool I guess
what on earth is versafine Clair????? sounds very very exciting indeed. Will be googling that in a minute. Great idea as well about the circle die! thank you :)
NO WAY!!!! Really?? is that what it's there for?? That is so clever! i thought it was there for some weird shaping of things like bows. Thank you so much, going to have a go with that. What a fun trick to learn :)
that is also a good thought. Someone had suggested it was useful to create bunched up ribbon as you can push the ribbon along the wire and manipulate it like that as well. Must try!
Hello from Scotland. Please don't say you "hate" anything British. Our cardstock is only slightly smaller than US and is very good quality. A4 is a standard size here and is used in business too. American cards are tiny compared to our standard sizes. We wouldn't dream of sending anyone a tiny card. I'm an experienced crafter who was going to subscribe to your channel, but not now. We also have wired ribbon used for tying parcels and making bows. I also suggest you try checking the width of the ribbon before you buy it. The sizes are there on Aliexpress.
Im sorry you feel that way. I was mainly explaining i dont like the standard British size as it is so hard to cut even layers for cards as the size is 14.8cm so if i want 2-3 toppers it takes a lot more thinking to get those layers even. Where as if i just do what the Americans seem to do and start with an even number it's much easier to work out the top layers. Take care
Ive heard loads of American youtubers talk about the size for a standard card, but it's funny because our card here is a different size, it's longer but narrower so i cant blooming do the american size fully as my paper isnt wide enough gahhhhhhhh :( So ive gone with the closest measurements so that i can still make the most of being able to use inches. They just work SOOOOO much better for me than cm.
Hi, can you tell me if the smaller gems are beads that can be threaded please? I wasn't 100% sure from the description on Ali. Thanks for the inspiration of your cards.
ha ha no ive actually got most of the Garage. We converted it to an office 6 years ago just before my daughter was born as our house is quite small and i have taken over the whole thing and have filled it to the roof with craft supplies! (im a bit addicted i think)
Do not use Tombow Aqua Glue on your card fronts! Made the same mistake...ugh! Only use the green multipurpose Tombow if you don’t have dry adhesive for card fronts. Lovely share...glad your daughter is getting better!
yes lesson learned for sure. Thank you for the encouragement and thankfully Rosalie is on the mend, however school had me come collect my son this morning as he had a very high fever :(
That's interesting. I just noticed most of my favourite RUclipsrs used it all the time and their images were always perfect. The minis are great! How many colours did you manage to find?
I find a lot of liquid glues will curl unless you have a super fine tip. In US the best liquid glue to use on cards and scrapbook paper is "Art Glitter Glue ". Even though the name says glitter it has no glitter in it. It dries clear and you can buy metal fine tips to go along with the bottle. A bottle of glue will last a long time. And it is a strong glue and archival safe for your projects. The company will not ship or guarantee it in the winter in case it will freeze. So if someone tries to sell you some that is shipping from or thru a temperature area below freezing there is a good chance it won't work properly. I recommend you try Art Glitter Glue when it's safe to ship it. If interested try buying the glue, tips and pins in warmer weather thru www.maymaymadeit.com website. She has a stamp club and does all kind of videos here on RUclips to watch too...as well as her shop. Lots of fun stuff to learn in her videos also. Love all your cards. I bought that same llama paper from Alines too. Glad to hear your little girl is doing better.
normally i only ever use the Green tombow, but i thought i would try out the blue as the green is so amazing. But im not convinced, ive not found it to be all that good, it's much messier. I would LOVE some art glitter, everyone in the States raves about it, but we cant get it here in the UK :( I should have ordered some on Amazon while my husband was there, but if it got cold in the plane i worry it wouldnt work
You must get your orders fast because you’re on the design team. I have ordered several times & they ALWAYS take forever!! Tight now l’m waiting on a couple of orders that have taken over a month. She even added the extension time. Now l try to avoid ordering from har because she does take to long. She’ll apologize for being so slow but nothing changes. I ordered from a bunch of stores at the same time & hers are the only ones that haven’t arrived. Frustrating for sure.🥴🙄😜🤪😝☹️🥺
How odd! I wonder if they're getting stuck at customs on the way? I order stuff from her store and it goes through the normal process and it's normally 2weeks- a month from her shop. (even before being on the design team). Most stores on AE take about 2 months for me to arrive, not often before then.
I go with inches as it's easier to see on my paper trimer than counting to .08cm. Kind of makes my eyes go wonky. I use cm a lot but if I layer a card with a few toppers then i find it easier to use inches as it's a lot clearer on my trimmer. The tickies are easier to see 😂I hope that makes sense?
Laughing again! You always improve my moods!! Gee, your photo shows your nose being rather lovely and tiny! But this video shows your nose looking like it belongs to the jolly green giant. Obviously you must have photoshopped that one on your RUclips page! You just make me be silly, I hope you don't take me seriously, for heaven's sakes! I love your style of crafting and your sense of humor! Here's a bit of help about American card stock sizes. I don't know how to post the nice big numbers on the screen, but here it goes! A typical piece of card measures 8 1/2 X 11 inches (all numbers are inches) If you want to make a landscape card, cut the original paper at 5 1/2 ", then score the long side (8 1/2 " side) at 4 1/4". To make a portrait style card, cut the 8 1/2 X11 card on the 8 1/2 side at 4 1/4.right down the middle. This leaves you with 2 pieces 4 /14 X 11.. Score each at 5 1 X2 " and you are left with two cards 41/4 X5 1/2. I won't go into 12" card stock ,because it's more unusual and basically you end up with 8 1/2 X 11 inches. Now someone who can explain this over so it makes sense can now take the podium,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,!
Oh Ruth, so sorry for not replying to this message. I have no clue how i missed it. Thank you so much for your awesome long comment! you're the best :) Thank you for taking time out of your day to message. You make perfect sense ;)
Nice haul and love the cards. Did you say you got the little versa fine Inks on Aliexpress? Didn't see a link. I have to tell you when you said you could see the shadow of your nose, I got the giggles and I'm still laughing. Ha! Thanks for sharing!
Ha ha yea by the end it was super winding me up that i could see this giant schnoz taking over the screen! The Versafines i got off of Ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VERSAFINE-MINI-CUBE-INK-PAD-TSUKINEKO-UK-FREE-1st-CLASS-P-P-ON-EXTRA-PADS/270756599370?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=570021243780&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Thank you so much! I just ordered a TON of stamps and this (and the tips in the comments!) will help a ton. Thank you!!

You're too funny! Hope your daughter is feeling better. Thanks ink tip. Love the gem's as well.
Thank you for your comment. Rosalie is now on the mend, but had to pick my son up today as he had a really high fever :(
Love the alpaca paper! Great video, your cards came out nice!
Thank you so much for the compliments :) and yes i love the paper! really colourful and nice
nice haul. Very cute cards.

Also I use the green tomboy on my thinner papers and works fine. You dont need alot at all. The blue tomboy curled my paper too
yes i love the green one as well. Works a treat, just expensive with the amount of card making i do
Great to see you back! :-) Your cards turned out really pretty. / I'm going to order some of those new "jewles" from alina. I love versafine it's my go to ink. Lovely goodies sweetie xxx
It is such an amazing ink isnt it! Thank you for stopping by :)

Hi Sasha
The ribbon with the wire, if you pull the wire, it will gather your ribbon.
And also you can take it out.
Nice haul.
Hugs from Australia xx
NO WAY!!!! Really?? is that what it's there for?? That is so clever! i thought it was there for some weird shaping of things like bows. Thank you so much, going to have a go with that. What a fun trick to learn :)
When you use wet glue it will make your papers curl. Glue runners work better or double sided tape. Hope that helps.
Thank you :)
Lovely card making, Sasha.
Thanks mom
That wire in the ribbon is so you can shape your bows, or whatever you’re making.🤗
that is also a good thought. Someone had suggested it was useful to create bunched up ribbon as you can push the ribbon along the wire and manipulate it like that as well. Must try!
I want order a big dies and stuff i love watching yall

Stand red A2 card in America is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2. Cut your card stock at 8 1/2 X 5 1/2. Stands red card stock here is 8 1/2 X 11

Wow!!’ What an amazing haul I love what you have purchased ❤️❤️ I need to check out aliexpress and order more hehe 😜
Thanks Gina, you really should check out AE it has saved me so SOOOOO much money (and yes also cost me a LOT as well, ha ha)
♥️♥️♥️
Hi, can you tell me if the smaller gems are beads that can be threaded please? I wasn't 100% sure from the description on Ali. Thanks for the inspiration of your cards.
No sorry they're plastic flat back clear beads. No holes. And thank you for commenting and the compliments :)
@@SashaReade Thanks, at least I know now.

VERSAFINE BLACK ONYX IS THE BEST. All your major stamp makers and users in US swear by them. I'm like you I bought as many minis I could fine.

2 inches = 5.08 cm......so where is the point in using inches against DinA sizes ??

The Versafines i got off of Ebay
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VERSAFINE-MINI-CUBE-INK-PAD-TSUKINEKO-UK-FREE-1st-CLASS-P-P-ON-EXTRA-PADS/270756599370?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=570021243780&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
You can get versafine on Ali but it's just as expensive if not more than your local shop. Idk why
