    This is why iZotope RX is so important for restoration. I work with Bletchley Park Museum in the UK. We have recordings of WW2 Veterans’ recorded anywhere between the mid 70’s to the modern day. Most of the people on those early recordings are no longer with us & these historically important recordings in many cases are the only time they spoke about their codebreaking work. RX has allowed us to restore even the worst recordings and be able to save them to be heard by generations to come. That’s why I tell everyone, not only does iZotopes software make history, but it’s saving it too.

      I'm using it right now to help preserve an entire human language. All recorded in the 1970s.

    This is sooo amazing. The capabilities of this plug-in blow me away!

      Yeah. I wish it wasn't as expensive as it is, otherwise I would totally buy it.

    Great job izotope 👍 I suggest to add some features, hoping to make your programs to help more efficiently: 1. make “the preset drop down list” searchable. 2. Add undo button to learn spectral de-noise to enable loading the previously captured noise profile. You have it in ozone as a history button for the settings. 3. Add multiple undo to selections to enable loading selection as now you can load only the last previous selection.

    The restoried audio at 1:46 has lost a lot of the 'room' and sounds boxy. Is that lost reverb that can be replaced or some other artifact

      Yes it's not always appreciated that audio restoration staff make subjective choices. Not everyone will agree with those choices. Compare the word, "Hermie" at 1:34 and at 1:44. Huston's voice is turned into a Dalek sound. In an official Izotope article on 8 common audio restoration mistakes, author Nick Messitte lists "over denoising" as the "number one issue in audio restoration". This here is a perfect example of that common mistake in my opinion.

      Man, i think he only show us the result of de-noising, after that he probably adds reverbetarion and a room tone to it.

    • @oldgoody1
      @oldgoody1 5 лет назад +1

      Yes in film, room tone is often added later, but here he says "this is the final result after the mix ".

      @@oldgoody1 after result after render the parameters, man...not final

    • @oldgoody1
      @oldgoody1 5 лет назад

      Again, he said "this is the final result after the mix". If it was just after denoise what was there to mix?

    Why are all the vids on RX just for dialogue? Where are the examples of music cleanup?

      Have you checked out our video "How to use iZotope RX 11 for music production" yet? ruclips.net/video/wg9vOtvlXMs/видео.html
      Also this one might be helpful, "How to Use Everything in iZotope RX for Music Creators" (uses RX 10, but most of the examples are still relevant for version 11!): ruclips.net/video/0OnTbxlI8s0/видео.html
      Let us know if that helps!

    For whatever reason(s), lazy broadcasters continue to air crappy audio - historic and modern day (infamous POTUS helicopter chats) ☹️👎 Wish they'd invest time, effort, tools to clean up audio, especially fanous, historic speeches
