Andy from my comments you probably figured out now I’m not a youngster your patience and Undying drive for precision is just killing me I can’t get enough of these videos I contacted some old friends we’re all retired now but young at heart. Still young enough to ride build and enjoy the finer things in life we are all motorcyclist at heart I’ll probably continue to ask stupid questions as I watch this basket case buildSo please forgive me
This is great! Ive recently picked up a scrappy old Xs11 '79 and ive been a bit intimidated at first (partly because this bikes been alive twice as long as I have) and have very little experience with 4 cylinder bikes (Motocrosser). Lots of awesome information here and some really useful practical knowledge that xs11.com can't quite provide. It is really appreciated and interesting! Thanks Andy
Hey Andy! I was hoping to see how you wired up the regulator rectifier. Im currently having a no charge issue, so I was looking to see what wires you used. Cheers!
Hi Dean, have a look at this and let me know if it helps. ruclips.net/video/hrVfjnxHQOo/видео.html You may also want to watch this ruclips.net/video/xGuQGVCRQ0U/видео.html Do you have a wiring diagram?
One of my mates did make a video on wiring the lights in an Acewell speedo. He owns a shop in Queensland and has some videos you may find useful. ruclips.net/channel/UC90PGcm91JrCTkG90JeyMSg
Hello and thanks for the video series. I just bought a xs11 and found your channel, really glad to have such a good resource. I've got a question about the tach pickup wire. Where did you get the signal wire at? Did you use the coil for the signal or somehow use the factory 3 pin connection. I'm currently wiring up a new gauge cluster and thats my last connection. Thanks again!
I just watched the whole basket case series in 4 days, amazing videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
+Miller Bernhardt Thanks mate, more to come

Hey Andy Hope the new job is treating you well! Is the Ctek battery charger suitable for a Antigravity Lithium Ion Battery? Cheers
G’day Andrew. I have a Ctek Lithium XS but I believe that the Ctek Lithium US is the charger for anti gravity Lithium batteries, cheers
Hey what exactly was your non-spark issue in that case?? Great job thus far mate!
See the next episode, 24A, non magnetic connection of the Toroid bars

On the Acewell speedo I used a coil wire induction but it wasn’t very good. My Speedhut unit uses the factory tachometer wire and is faultless
can you list the parts you use
