This is one of the best mods in the Half-Life universe. Very well done, improved and with so many new things💓💓
I disagree with you there. The changes in the redux version barely add anything valuable to the mod aside for small things like being able to carry medkits with you. Not to mention that there were also barely any changes to compliment those additions, so it feels completly out of place in certain sections. Not to mention the attempt of realism, that makes your character slide around as if he was on ice (Seriously, no one moves like this), the camera movements which dont make any sense and location based damage, which results in a game full of trial and error, since as soon as you get hit, you will certainly die (Aside from headcrabs and zombies of which the latter are made a none threat since they die with 1 bullet).
But to each his own I guess.
@@PingasFunbox In my experiences playing it, there were not so many bugs or so many defects that make it very bad or that it interferes so much with gambling. They were good gameplays. That's why I consider him, the Black Mesa, Operation Black Mesa, Guard Duty, Black Mesa Azure Sheep, Black Mesa Damocles and some others, the best mods in the Half-Life universe. Incidentally, some of these are still waiting to release or release their full version. So I disagree with you, but I respect and understand you perfectly!!

Might want to specify that is the Redux version.
The original Black Ops mod was more fitting to their LD comic counterpart and didn't utilize the Rebirth mod code (shadows, movement, weapons handling, MP5/M16 variant 9mmAR replacements, zombie-hit/fall-damage-you-lose-guns mechanic).

Okay, so if I have this straight, Alyx Vance was at least a young adult by the time of HL1, aswell as the obvious: She has different coloured hair. This tells us that the Alyx Vance in HL2 is at least 40, has dyed her hair, and is always performing blackface. Interesting.

Man I remember this mod from back in the day. Don't remember any of the female or male assassin remodels.
I know when I played it the female assassins were standard HL1 assassins, but with a cleavage texture and the jiggle bones in their chest restored.
All in all, I remember this mod to be toms of fun.

this game needed to be a reality instand of a mod it should been an actuall game in the serie since we were a scientist, a cop, a military ( the later being my favorite out of the 3 xD )

This was the first mod i played for HL and i was very excited back in the day to see an alternative storyline to the Black Op who activated the bomb in Black Mesa.
It was a massive let down as the atmosphere of the entire mod looks more like Day Hunger continuation rather than Half Life plot.
I must add, i played the very old version of the mod. This addons make it look good but i would say this is not even a good fan-made argument for HL. I do think it's impressive, taking in consideration that (from what i remember) only 1 person made it, but it is still quite bad when it comes to the atmosphere.
Things like the comics, or elements to progress are quite cool to see, but most of everything else is just odd.
