No side deck is weird. Not sure why he’d be playing without one, but it would explain some of the stuff with his main deck. Extra deck: Mostly good, but the new Brio, the level 7 synchro, and Sebek should be swapped out for more impactful toolbox options. For example, Kragen is generally a much better time card than Sebek unless you are using Dogwood to burn your opponent every time they summon a monster. Main deck: I’m not going to say much here, because not being able to use a side deck would explain choices like having Gameciel and the FBG engine over other cards. However, I think only playing 1 Hexa is a mistake because there are some IB combos that require you to have 2 Hexa.
Yeah I think you can tell from the video, it was a last min decision to go with Ice Barriers hense a proper side deck not being ready and the deck not fully optimised. It was probs a combination of beginners luck, doing the basics well, surprise factor and even the side deck cards in the main that caught opps off guard
Seems a bit clunky with the ratios. Foolish burial goods feels like a dead draw if you need it for ice barrier for ice barrier to search. I'll try it out in testing myself. Wonder what his hands were like testing on draws. Also a little correction hexa does not send a level 2 or lower tuner it sends a level 3 or lower ice barrier. The extra feels like it's missing a couple more impactful cards too. Also no side?

Im still hoping kanomi gets over their bleh eyez whiet dwagun fetish so we can FINALLY get a solid ice barrier sd that can be used in 3x of them a do great like the albez sd. A disyant and possibly only dream. That said, pretty cool (bad pun is bad) build, glad to see they can win.

Fr. The new Brio is pretty much a worse version of the original. At that point I'D recommend playing the original as a toolbox option
I prefer to have more binders cause they re less heavy when full of random stuff and it helps me keeps things separated and neat
