What? Lol that’s like saying you watch your wife’s car leave the driveway in the morning and have no idea how she gets home at night. There’s a lot that happens between the backswing and face contact…
Great video. Echoing so many other comments about AJ. Seems like a truly awesome guy, very down to earth. He would be a great addition to the group. On a different note, as a fellow Kansas Citian, Garrett, have you ever reached out to Tom Watson about doing a segment with you on the channel? Some time when you are back in the KC area, you and Tom playing a short match at a local KC course. The younger demographic that follows you on the channel getting to see and experience what a true golf legend he is and the wisdom that he has. That segment would take the channel to yet another level. Just a thought.
some how missed this one ...in my previous binge watching.... enjoyed it so much - watched the Good Good Open yesterday... I needed this for old time sake.
I love seeing you guys play the courses I grew up on! This course was in rough shape but its usually not that bad, courses in new mexico dont really get in peak condition until july/august. Hopefull you guys enjoyed the other courses in ruidoso while you were there!
Come to Maryland lol. Some of the worse greens, literally unplayable at times, and courses still charge 70$. By unplayable, I mean the ball literally doesn’t roll in a straight line and bumps and BOUNCES all over the place
Garret you playing aggressive when you drive is on is some of the best golf I’ve seen you play with you wedge game as good as it is that is the recipe of going low along with solid ball striking
Garret, I have an idea for you to consider traveling to Indiana to play the following golf courses. The Brickyard Crossing course in Indianapolis where they race the Indy 500. They have four of the holes located inside the I day 500 track. Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN has two fine golf courses. The Kampen- Cosler (North Course). The south is called Ackerman- Allen Course. Both of these courses are designed by Pete Dye. Indiana University has a newly redesigned golf course called The Pfau Course designed by highly-acclaimed architect Steve Smyers and two-time major winner and Hoosier native Fuzzy Zoeller. The Pete Dye Course at French Lick in French Lick, IN which hosted the 2015 Senior PGA Championship. French Lick also has the The Donald Ross Course at French Lick, originally constructed in 1917 by world-renowned architect Donald Ross. These are all beautiful and challenging golf courses in Indiana that I think you and the Good Good Boys would enjoy playing very, very much and provide great content.
I was today years old when I learned AJ’s dad is Albert Pujols. No wonder AJ the unit has the ball speed he does. As Bobby says “I mean c’mon, if we’re talkin about a guy who can fill out a polo, let’s talk AJ, let’s talk mass, let’s talk about ball speed from this guy”
I know this course isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing to look at in this video. But I’d be willing to bet that this course looks and plays awesome once the season gets started up into the summer months. Probably looks it’s best once the end of summer and early fall times. Right now it looks like a cow pasture of course…and an overpriced cow pasture at that. You do see course like this, especially out west. Here in Michigan though, we definitely have some very tough yet beautiful golf courses. I believe Michigan has some of the best rated public course in the country even! Even with brutal winters, the courses get into shape really quickly here. I’d love to see you all play up here…you could golf for weeks here and never run out of courses that are worthy of playing.
I think Mich is easily a top 3 to 5 state for golf courses , its loaded with awesome courses all over , does not get the YT trip love maybe but golf in Mich is known. So many courses , I'm in Ohio and have been wanting to take a 3 4 day golf trip and hit up 4 or 5 course in Mich. Have you played the dream and the nightmare courses ? I know not the tip top of them but look and sound fun to play and not crazy expensive. Arcadia Bluffs courses , Sweetgrass , bay harbor , black lake , forest dunes , tree tops , pilgrims run , kingsley and ravines golf club are just a few I want to play lol like Mich is it for golf in this half of the USA.
So cool seeing you guys play these not so amazing courses with no so long holes, although I'm in Australia it's cool seeing you play on a course similar to ones I do as I haven't played on courses half as nice as the ones you're usually at.
You should play roaring fork club near Aspen Colorado. Its a Jack Nicklaus course and I can get you in to play. Theres also the Snowmass Course, Aspen course, river valley ranch, and others. I think youd love it
Great round, and should give you plenty of confidence that 65 is very possible. You missed a short birdie putt and you lipped a long one out, if you made just those 2 putts, you would've gotten that elusive 65. It's for sure gonna happen.
I play at the shittiest local course near me… and I love it. Because it’s got areas where you can play certain shots (all dirt some half fairways that let you roll out a shit ton. 7 Iron went 260 once 😮) and I’ve never scored lower than 90 and I had only broken 90 once before starting to play there but have Yet to score higher than 85! One man’s trash is MY TREASURE mUAHAHHAHA AJ made recovering from some tough luck look easy and Garrett looking In Sync. Great video
Focus on birdies and eagles like you would a must save par kids! AND control that heart rate. G does a good job of showing how to react to those. Settle in, lock in. Love the content! Keep it up!
People come in and out of your life for a wild amount of reasons. You move on and stay optimistic. Can't be comparing new people in your life to the old people in your life. I miss grant, but AJ is sick too :) Have a day boys
@@geoff9905 I completely agree! I just wish we had more time with Grant or get more time hopefully. Garret is definitely keeping his channel up though by bringing in new faces!
Was wondering if any golfer can relate to this. I have been golfing the last 6 years my handicap has never really improved, it has actually got worse. I started at 20 and went up to 28. I hit my clubs well and for being a 28 handicap I hit my 6 irons around 190 yards. But I never seem to have any luck when I play a round. I can go par for a few holes then it's ding double double ding and i ruin my card. It happens all the time now. It's not the same all the time, it will be a mix of 3 off the tee, a crap chip , crap putt or a random duck hook. I'm really struggling cause I feel like I have the potential to be an 18 handicap, that is my current goal but I feel like I can't get a steady 18 bogu golf. I always have a good and bad hole per hole and just wondering if there is any advice. I have done lessons but the last time they said my swing was good. I just want steady golf. Not sure if I need to play more gently or if it is between my ears. It's annoying because sports wise I've always been pretty good at most sports. Struggling to find a solution Any help would be amazing
AJ is such a welcome addition/ guest…
Great attitude and confidence
When Garrett’s driver is on, his game is unparalleled. Paired with his short game, he could be really good.
He could be good good
Just needs his putter to show up more lol
He already is very good brotha
what is your definition of really good lol... you don't shoot 67 without already being there
AJ is such a refreshing act.
Keep it up boys.
Every time I see AJ’s backswing, I have no idea how he gets the club face back to the ball and makes solid contact, but somehow he makes it work 😅
Man’s an athlete. MLB dad genes have gotta help

I'm happy to see AJ there with you . Y'all seem to have a great time together in these vids
I love how down to earth AJ is. I mean his dad is Albert Pujols and he just hangs out and chills with all the boys
What is he supposed to do?
@@giovannioquendo6305 exactly what I was thinking. I am guessing all these people think he is supposed to be some rich snob.
His dad seems super chill as well, one of the greatest baseball players ever and has never been cocky or flamboyant, like father like son.
@@tylerwilcox9922 I’m saying that a lot of dudes in his position would absolutely be a rich snob; kid was clearly raised right

The little pause before, "Peace out," works very well.
Garrett could pair with a large rock and still make it entertaining and create dynamic chemistry!
Love this series and the vibes with you and AJ.
Great content. Great chemistry between Garrett and AJ. I’m loving the half vlog half golf type of video
this has been one of the best series you guys have done, good job
We demand that AJ be the next member of GG. We will riot if it doesn’t happen!
Big AJ fan and G rat is the you tube goat. Would be cool to see AJ as the sixth member.
💯 agree

Notice how well Garrett plays when he’s not trying to hit stinger draw cut slice hooks
I've been saying that for a long time! Just try to hit it straight at the target!! Only took me 30 years to figure that out!!
you guys make such a great pairing; easy golf to watch. Got to say Garret; you're doing some good things
"swing with confidence, don't be scared of the ball" hahaha we love it. Perf advice too
Still can’t get past the audacity of that course charging $243 for greens fees with it in that condition.

AJ and Garret vs kwon and Taco…now that is what I’d love to see.
I admire the way they don't let themselves get really mad and keep going

I played the links in Ruidoso last year. My lowest round of my life love that course it’s usually in a lot better shape.
I love how GM is giving AJ the best endorsement to join the good good crew. I would love if he joined.
