@@pc_suffering6941 It’s possible that the inflation fetish has existed for a long while, although if so, I think that it was probably a lot more obscure before that scene popularized it. Blueberry inflation in particular, however, seems too specific to predate Roald Dahl’s choice of karmic punishment for Violet Beauregarde.
