- Hello! Today I am playing MARDU ENERGY BUILD which is extremly good! Have good amount of games played with this build and overall 80% + winrate and also got a trophy. This is the deck I played most after MH3 and tweeked a lot of builds and learning it on the way and it just seems so good. This is my choice for creator showdown tournament. Splashing black for Orcish Bowmasters and 1 copy of Chthonian Nightmare. Orcish Bowmasters just makes this deck way better then usual build having much better matchup againts mirror, necro and the one ring. Running much more 1 drops just to be more on the aggresive side. Ragavan is better play to be aggresive and to get that mana which is relevant and on the other side Ocelot Pride is just a good topdeck in the mid game. Rest of the cards are self-explanatory pretty much and you will see what and how deck runs in the gameplay. Let me know what do you think about this build in the comments down below!

Would playing a 2nd plains over a 3rd Aether Hub be better in a blood moon situation? As it allows u to bring back Phlage from gy more consistently then relying on a treasure of a ragavan or goblin shaman token which u may not always have
Played a bunch with blood moon so far, and never had issues, but it is doable switch.
Few questions.
Why no thoughtseize mb or sb?
Why static prison and nightmare only at 1x?
Why 4 phlage? (Most lists run 3)
What do u think about ob nixilis the adversary?
Solid video + solid gameplay
Thoughtseize is only good vs stuff you cant kill or mass removal, so in current metagame that would only be Tron lists when you want to take their all is dust or ugin.
In midrange matchups which are most common rn it is much better to start developing your board asap and thoughtseize is worst card in mirrors.
I would rather pack extra gy hate piece or suncleanser vs wraith then play seize which will lose you lot of mirrors.
Static prison is very hard to support when played on turn1 or 2, so having more then 1 in games when they are not crucial will make you have to sack them at some point and lose games.
4x Phlage is core of this deck, and best card in it, running 3 is like running 3 leylines of the guildpact in Zoo.
I'm literally shocked that people are still trying to play Ob in here, i believe it is just short trend and consider it close to unplayable.

Any good Mainboard gy hate? I find this deck is pretty weak to board wipes and opposing phlage
Suncleanser is vs wraith, and i have 4 gy hate pieces postboard.
Cling to dust is maybe maindeckable and hearse probably too.
I focused on gy hate on my side and it was right call.
Did you board out the bow masters and nightmare when boarding in the blood moons?

Magic in total is not just one deck in one format. And even here 7 out of 11 cards except lands that are mh3. The other 4 cards are from other sets. So what is your issue here. The only problem i have with mh3 is Nadu and Phlage. Nadu is obvious but Phlage right now is as strong or even stronger then Uro back in the day.
