I would have asked if he was considering goals in journalism and broadcasting. Sure asking about the 'Apparently...' notoriety is interesting, but it doesn't ask who he is now. He's humble and counts his blessings, and that's good.
I think it's because he's so cool about it that it works for him. This could have gone a million different ways, but he's clearly been raised well. His grandpa no doubt did him plenty of favors in life.
