'16 with The Wilderness I was working a dead end job and was lonely as fuck and they helped me through that. Just as an FYI to anyone concerned about the album title, a statement from the band: "Our starting point was the concept of an ending - death, or the end of a friendship or relationship. Every song comes from a story, or an idea one of us has had that we’ve all expanded on and made its own world. Maybe it’s our nature, but we kept feeling that the album title was ultimately open to a lot more interpretation-the end of a thing or a time can mean a stop, but it can also mean a beginning, and what happens after one thing ends might pale in comparison to what it becomes next." But this is the first time I can say I immediately loved this song on first listen. Stoked for this album! 🙏🏼

What I really like about this band is that even after all these years, their music still has that quality of random jam sessions in a garage, just experimenting with sounds. That's what drew me to them in the first place.

From the first time I did not understand the structure at all. But I absolutely felt life. The track retains the tradition of the band's analog sound. Friends, I have experienced a whole life in this track, I am very curious about what will happen next.
I'm just so happy to see the new album's first track. Relieved as I was so worried about the upcoming tour's name "The End". I just hope that the album's name doesn't mean anything symbolically about the band's journey.
