could someone more knowledgeable in synthesis explain to me how to get close to rejoicers lead synth sound? I know its an old keyboard, but modern tech has to have a way to that thin dreamy sound. I've got a blofeld and an a4, so I've got digital and analog covered, just need to know where to begin.
It sounds like the attack is rolled off a little, detuned a bit. I think it's a sawtooth waveform. Then you'd need to mess with the filter. It sounds like a high pass filter. There's possibly some chorus/verb on that too.
2 different Ride cymbals in the same clip ? Either the whole of the audio wasn't live, or at least some of the video footage was recorded after the fact (i.e. playback). But hey, i guess that's ok in an age where nobody cares for the reality anymore as long as it looks nice..
Yeah, but the art that was presented (the music) was made to look like it was recorded played live as we are watching. It wasn't meant to be perceived as an artsy music video but as live footage from a live recording. That's a difference. But i know that's harder to grasp more and more for people these days where manipulating pictures, videos and news has become the new standard.
@@beatz04 100 % of the audio and 80% of the video you see is from ONE live take no overdubs. Sorry if that ruins it for you. The other option is to have me standing in the middle of the wide master shot with my tongue sticking out and my face all scrunched up. That's what I look like when i'm shooting. It's a mess trust me. Or not have close ups. But I don't want to live in a world without close ups. Thanks for saying it looks nice though.

both are quite different - but good nonetheless
Gannon King I like the ones made with fava beans instead of chickpeas. I think it's an Egyptian thing.

Probably the complete audio of one of the takes, but they didn't have enough good video footage from that take so they combined it with other takes
It's a double astral move
isn't the point of art to escape from reality?
