I’m 13 and I want to buy my first car, I don’t want to be pampered at all this may seem crazy but I’m going to try my best to get a job and buy my first car then work my way up and make my own business and get an Lamborghini as of now my dad and mother makes 48 and 24k a year so I’m quite spoiled you could say, haha.
So many problems
1. The engine overheats quick

3. Insurance
4. Only 2 seats
You can get one if you want it’s kinda good but those and the bead parts

Problems we Love. I have a corvette and I was talking about how expensive the tires and brakes are but when you start getting into the big boy sports cars you’re in a whole new level. And like u said when making a big purchase you definitely have to know what you’re getting into 💰
Facts. You pay to play
Love the car (I’ve always wanted one) but I’m offended by the outrageous maintenance cost.
I would put that money towards enrolling in whatever mechanical trade school that the Lamborghini techs take and learn all that I need to know so that I can do the “routine maintenance” myself.
Most people that can afford those cars would pay more then they already are just to not do it themselves

Get the bluetooth adapter you could then listen to audio, you'll have 2 options on your phone to connect on 2 Bluetooth connections, you could be connected to both, for phone and audio
I believe, if you can,t afford the maintanance, don,t buy it. If you can however, go for it, and as far as corona, mask up buddy.

Upkeep maintenance I figured isn’t cheap.
Are you able to change oil yourself. On my Tundra oil change is about $120. I’m able to do it myself for around $60

What are your carrying costs for the Gallardo? For example do you have it insured? Do you drive it at all?
If it doesn’t cost you much money and it is paid off then I could definitely see keeping it. However, if you still have significant carrying costs with the Gallardo I would almost think that dumping it might be a reasonable decision.

It's crazy cuz I recently picked up a 2010 SHO and it has bluetooth, heated/cooled seats, navi, massage seats etc. Now don't get me wrong as I would take the Aventador in a heartbeat. Just saying that for such an expensive (and my dream car) vehicle to not have all those features is insane.
In any event, beautiful car brother and love how you disclose costs associated with owing a supercar as well as financing etc. Humble and successful..rare mix.

There's a reason why it costs so much to service these cars. There isn't just one oil pan to drain, there are multiple drain plugs to deal with. On some of these vehicles, you almost have to disassemble the back of the car just to get to the parts that need to be serviced. Even replacing an air filter can be a huge job. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of European cars can be acquired at relatively good prices, as used cars. Maserati's for example, tend to loose quite a bit of value and can be found with low price tags but, the maintenance can still be very expensive. Any time you're dealing with "dealer only parts," it's going to cost way more than going to your local auto parts store.

Honestly, the biggest fail for me on your list is the lack of Bluetooth audio streaming. On the flip side, I'm totally ok with just listening to the glorious exhaust note.
First off mad props to you. It seems even if you’re worth 7 figures this car is more headache than it’s worth. I’d go crazy worrying about front lip scratches and door dings let alone the maintenance costs. You gotta be pulling 8 figures min to ngaf about that stuff. My suggestion, sell the lambos, buy a c8 and a G wagon, invest the remaining cash, and call it a day.
Im sure you can get bluetooth installed and also the transmission software updated.

Damn, the Bluetooth is a huge miss. My Lexus from 2011 has fully capable Bluetooth, as well as a headphone audio input jack and USB jack. Maybe they figured an Aventador owner wouldn't care, since they'd be enjoying the driving experience. But still, it's nice to have music, audiobooks, podcasts, etc.
If you want you can buy a Lamborghini body kit and it’ll give your Lamborghini a updated look. That’s what I did with mines on GTA

Hmm. More comfortable overall would be the Huracan. But the aventador has smoother suspension

You should if you could upgrade to a 2014,15 model because they fixed a lot of bugs and issues with the 14,15 models compared to the 2012,13 models. Great car though its my dream car.
That's is a very nice car I would keep that car you can bet the insurance rate on a 2020 is sky high you did right the car is still up to date and you are saving $.

Thanks for sharing. I was interested in an Aventador and now think of something else. As for you blue tooth issue, look for a bluetooth phone app that actually will play your music from your phone. I have a 2009 Cadillac CTS that would only connect bluetooth for phone conversations and found a bluetooth app that would connect the phone as if I was on a phone call but was able to link my iphone music to play on that channel to the car. Good Luck Man. I agree with you on realestate. I used to do flips and rentals when I lived in Indiana. I now live in Brentwood, CA and the properties here are crazy high. My colleague moved here in 2017 and bought a 1200 sqft ranch home for $500,000. Too crazy.

Will, i wouldnt be so paranoid about COVID, i had it a few months ago and was self quarantined for the 14 days, fever controlled with Tylenol and at the end bad/dry cough. LOTS depend on someone's health prior to getting it like if someone has breathing issues, bronchitis, etc. You seem healthy so hopefully even if you catch it you should be fine in a few weeks.
Gallardo is like the Sportster of Harley Davidson but still nothing wrong with one and some people are snobs regardless of what anyone has, Heather Ballantine sells them and makes some very informative vids, i think a new SVJ is close to a million with serious options. To be honest launch control does put the car under stress so any car if its used continuously will break something. The Performante is VERY close to the SVJ due to its superior gearbox, just personal preference, i assume you havent replaced your clutch yet?
I work with a guy who has a BMW 750 and he pays $500.00 for annual service which is oil change and quick check, maintenance records will help you when you go to sell, lots of buyers look for clean paper trail.
