Questo è per me un video molto speciale. Mi sono appassionata a questa coppia un bel po' di tempo fa e ultimamente, poiché ho iniziato a guardare The Vampire Diaries, sono diventati una delle mie coppie preferite.
All'inizio dell'estate ho deciso di fare questo video, così ho cercato tutti i video nella migliore qualità possibile (che purtroppo vedrete non sempre sarà ottima) e mi sono messa alla ricerca di una canzone speciale che potesse andare bene per questa coppia. Ho cercato questa canzone per tantissimo tempo senza riuscire a trovarla e forse era perché la canzone che rispettasse la mia idea di "canzone perfetta per questo video" non era ancora uscita... infatti la canzone che ho usato è una canzone anch'essa molto speciale che un artista che seguo da diversi anni e che tra poco si lancerà come solista, Jorge Blanco, ha scritto per chiedere alla sua fidanzata, Stephie Caire, (che canta con lui alla fine della canzone) di sposarlo. Il video della proposta di matrimonio è uscito pochi giorni fa (qui vi lascio il link nel caso voleste vederlo: • PROPOSING TO MY GIRLFR... ) e quando ho sentito la canzone subito mi ha fatto provare qualcosa di unico. Oltre ad essere una canzone dolce, romantica e vera, è una canzone che mi riesce a trasmettere davvero l'amore che lui prova per questa ragazza. Così ho pensato di provare ad usare questa canzone speciale per questo video per me così speciale e da subito, da quando ho montato i primi secondi del video, ho capito che, finalmente, l'avevo trovata. Questa era la canzone che stavo cercando.
Questo video è il frutto di un lavoro lunghissimo e vederlo finalmente online, vedere che ce l'ho fatta, che l'ho finito e sono, stranamente, soddisfatta del risultato, mi rende davvero felice.

It had nothing to do with the age gap. It was coz when Ian proposed to Nina she wasn't ready for marriage and kids so that's why they broke up. Ian wanted marriage and kids so now he's with Nikki living his best life but I really do wish Ian and Nina were together but as long as Ian is happy with Nikki I'm happy :)

I think Ian got a bit sick of crazy fans and people cursing his wife, you gotta understand his side I know I would hate it if people who supposedly love me cursed my spouse. I understand his side... Although I believe he was out of hand sometimes, there's a comic con that he's just so rude and demanding with his comments basically saying Nina shouldn't be there in the last season even Julie Plec gets annoyed. But most of the times I think he's just very sick of putting up with teenage girls who don't know him harrasing his wife online it was crazy when they started dating.

And although I ship Nian I think that Ian happy with his family If he wasn't happy he would have left already they got married in 2015 and had their daughter Bodhi on 2017 also Ian and Nina aren't even friends anymore they don't talk they don't follow each other on social media it's very weird how people that were soo close and made us fall in love with their chemistry to be so distaned right now.. A lot of people have different opinions on that matter some say that Nikki is jealous others say that nina is jealous and personally I don't know what to believe I just think that he got married he moved on he had a child and nina doesn't want to get in the way also did you noticed that on season 8 finale when Elena and Damon meet again it was like their whole chemistry was gone It felt like they were 2 strangers and I was just disappointed..
What makes me sad is tht he's literally 40 now with a kid and a wife, he's all settled down so I doubt he would leave all tht to start over with Nina. What they had was amazing and I wish they kept it nd neva broke off but it happened and now they have all moved on with their lives.

Well, it *is* mean to want a married, obviously very happy couple to break up just for the selfish reason that you like their characters together and assume that just because Delena are meant to be, Ian and Nina are too (which they're obviously not, otherwise they would've been together now and don't come with this _she was ready to marry yet and he wanted kids_ bullshit, if they were true love, they would've worked that out somehow). It is selfish of you to want a kid to grow up with divorced parents, just because you ship two human beings that you know literally nothing about.

It's not really that surprising tho I'm actually upset since I was rooting for them. There's actually plenty of people who will leave their partner whom they love just because they want to quickly settle down and have kids since they are nearing the age.
