28-year-old Sydnie Christmas was working in a gym when she first auditioned for Britain's Got Talent - a long way from her West End dreams. Less than 6 months later, the superstar-in-the-making was crowned the winner of BGT Series 17.

It's glorious to see that sometimes, against all odds, the world gets it right!! Ms. Christmas, subtly, changes the minds of those who want to give up. Sadly, she can't change the worst of what's happening in our world. But she will share with us her extraordinary voice that, if only for moments at a time, for millions of us we WILL feel that the world is a better place because she and others like her, are in it!!

I know EXACTLY how she feels. My daughter tried for it too. Trained at Trinity, London. Lots of lead roles in Am dram. But so difficult to get that chance as Sydnie knows and to make a living from it. So she now just started a job in marketing after uni. Sydnie is the best singer EVER on BGT and she sings with so much emotion it brings tears to your eyes, love her. She deserves it all.❤❤❤😘

I’m in Indiana, and I can’t get enough of this woman. She truly is the whole package. Not only is she beautiful, but she has an amazing personality, and the most incredible voice I’ve heard in years. I will never forget her rendition of Tomorrow. Even after watching it a dozen times, it still brings me to tears and gives me chills. Like Simon, I never really liked the song, but she turned it into something else, something that I don’t think even the creators of the song knew it could become. Absolutely stunning performer!

The judges had a hard time describing your voice because your talent is so unbelievable. There are really no words to describe it.

Sydnie is a phenomenal performer! I get goosebumps hearing her sing. I am not understanding the comments I see in various posts that she is a phony, fake, an act, or a diva. To all the haters out there, please direct me to evidence or proof of this? I haven't found it online or anywhere else. If the criticism is because she has had a small, local career before BGT, that does not cut it. Confidence, talent and humility is what I see here...

Two weeks after Syd's performances I'm still looking for related content daily and still getting emotional. Never been moved as much by a talent show contestant. Beautiful person, gold-dust performances, so so happy for Syd.

FYI... I googled her, and she's performed professionally for years in theatres in England, Germany, cruise ships. She actually came to BGT already as a "Diamond." She acted so humble and excited--- now I understand why it felt rather put-on. But I can't disagree that she has a beautiful voice, great song interpretations, and wonderful renditions.

I've watched this video many times. As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, the most touching part for me was the hug Snydie got from her parents. It brought tears to my eyes. Not only does Sydnie have an incredible voice, but she is also a good human being. What a wonderful combination. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from her.

Flipping through RUclips looking for something interesting and I saw the Sydnie/Tomorrow video. 5-10 seconds into the song I knew I was hearing something special. Watched and then re watched it over and over. Told anyone that would listen that they had to hear this quirky young lady. Her voice has substance. For whatever reason when she sings you feel something. That cannot be taught.

Because of medical issues i was unable to listen to music for over 20 years. I sang, played the guitar, loved concerts, etc etc. It was a horrible loss for me. Sbout 4-5 months ago, something healed and i began to reintroduce music, small bits at a time. It was wonderful. But then i saw Sydnie on UTUBE in her first audition. I was touched to my soul. And then My Way. I could not stop crying, all i could day was thank you God for letting me heal in time to experience this woman..the all of her. A once in a generation voice, snd a wonderful person. The final was, of course, had to be. Thsnk you BGT, snd especially, thank you Sydnie...I have been blessed beyond words.
