How did they know he was male, no clues. They only tested 2 clubs not the 3rd. Could he have been hung. Too many questions unanswered this time. They do not appear to have actually proved anything.
Hi. As far as I know it is possible to tell if a skull belonged to a male or a female. The brow bones and forehead for example look different depending on the gender. And at around 20:00 it is explained that the hair was a wig. Not sure where the color came from. Mummification, something being used during the making of the wig or maybe it was dyed while being made.
Joann Fletcher!!! She is AWESOME!
You never disappoint! Your work is always interesting, fascinating, and informative, while keeping in mind that mummies are human beings. Thank you !
Good evening everyone. This is a new one for me.

So why was the head so carefully mummified post mortem?
Eerie - he DOES look virtually “alive.” He’s a wonderful specimen ❤

It might be an assumption based on the brow ridge which is generally more pronounced on males.
@@josephonesta6416 I looked at that as could see no noticeable ridge as is normal in males.
Yea.. he could fell from the top of pyramid, knocked his upper eye on the corner of a stone block and also broke his neck 😁
My guess is the head was a trophy perhaps of a vanquished noble man or outlaw as in bring me his head.
Head pulled off by an animal i reckon.
It seems like they were perfect. Doesn’t it scare some of us to unearth them?
How do we know it was a man and not a woman. It is not usual for Egyptians to have red hair or is that a dye applied during mummification?

It could be female.
