- Join us this episode as we visit Benidorm and head further south to an isolated peninsula off the mainland in south eastern Spain! We are getting very surprised by the country!
We are a family of five from South Wales living full time and vlogging our motorhome journies and travels around the UK and EU. Join us for some fun, laughter, tears and pain and we will share our experiences, knowledge and finds with you.

Benidorm actually looks really nice! I don't know why but I didn't expect it to look that way. That beach was beautiful! Spain seems so good for kids with all the play parks. My kids would love it there.

Another great video, love Benidorm lots of memories....if you had walked along the prom with the sea on your left you would have come to the Old town....very pretty and interesting....My in laws used to live in the hills above Torrevieja so we have seen a lot of the area there over the years and as you are heading to Malaga area there is a place near Nerja up in the hills called Frigliana that is a lovely little village....my niece has property there and lived there full time for years but has now gone back to Scotland and just holidays there now.....we have also spent a lot of time there...lovely coast to explore....have fun.......
We did a fly in and out visit but may return on our way back; really think city stops need a campsite stop over z
It is truly inspiring to see the van life from many perspectives. You bring a really nice unique view of it and the experience as well. I have been thinking about getting my own van for a long time, but always get sucked into convincing myself not to do it, even internally I know it is the right thing to do. Watching your videos might be the thing that pushes me over the line to gain the confidence to make that leap. Thank you and keep creating :)

We were there a few weeks back, lots of vans and motorhomes but so quiet, great for getting into the centre and old town
love the content very protective perents enjoy every second loved tacking my kids traveling camping days out no mum anymore love every minute xxx

Hello the best place to steal a motorhome is a campsite.
In Europe we've always felt safe.
As yourselves we have a tracker , external locks on doors and garage, full perimeter alarm, and internal fiat door locks.
If you can swivel your front driver's seat you can use a motorbike disc brake lock .

Hiya Rucks, great vlog, lovely to see the children having a great time and really enjoying themselves. I have never visited Benidorm but it looks very busy , much prefer the quieter places, but it’s always good to give everything a look 👍👍 safe travels xx

Enjoyed the extra videos this week,I love Benidorm in the winter on reaching the promeade,if only you had walked in the other direction you would have come into the beautiful old town and seen the best of benidorm,maybe next time

Been to your last park up a few times over the years. Looks like it’s getting more popular. If you walk around the circular road you’ll find a crazy hump back bridge.

We really liked Benidorm but like you said we were on a site 5km away and rode the bikes in. Far enough away for peace and close enough for fun 😁

Hi guys , we do like the Costa Blanca , shame you missed Valencia if you go back that way Nomadic Camping is a secure Aire about 5K outside but on the public transport links. Amazing City . Enjoying watching your travels best wishes H and M

Hi you lot, I'm a couple of weeks ahead of you, I stop at Santa Pola for four days, lovely place, but got moved on by the police, (it was time to move on anyway), I'm at a place called Aguius but been difficult to get near the sea, there is a van length restriction of 4.2mt in the town's, but plenty of nice places in land a bit, just not the beach. I know this area very well I been going there for over 20 years!
..... If you are going to go back up north on the N332, which I advise rather than going on the motorway - you might want to stop at an amazing american-style open-air boulevard with amazing shops and dancing water fountains the children can play, -shops bars etc, and free park up next to it
.... Put 'what three words' into satellite mode to see the outdoor car park, (opposite the boulevard)

Also there are two stunning beaches just down the road campoamor and le zenia beach is also amazing

Guys, I've just had a great idea !
Would it be worthwhile to put some hanging hooks from the ceiling where you could then hang some of those net bags for storing fruit and the like. Just an idea.....

Hi Barrie we use an EE Business Smart Sim with an EE router. Allows us to use unlimited UK and Europe.

How do you manage to choose which one to stop at? 😅 Do you ever think that your in too much of a hurry?🙃 I thought that time wasn't a problem any more. When do you rest long enough to get a tan and chill a bit? We went to Benidorm twice 'on package tours' and had great fun using the water ski's on the circuit. I think It was the Levante beach but this was 50 years ago. Great video and thank you. You are spoiling us now, i have never seen so many from you guys. (must be the climate) lolol Dave

You are right some draw attention to themselves as when you set up large structures you make the locals complain and you then get no overnight camping signs. Ruining it for everyone. Most camper van people are good people but there is a growing community that don't give a crap. And is only happened from covid 2019. love the video and Benidorm stay safe guys

What’s the rush? Take your time , you can’t enjoy anywhere just popping in and out.

Benidorm wasn't busy, we were there a few weeks ago, and was a bit more busier than that, it's busy when you can't put a towel down on the beach, that's busy, but looks like your enjoying it, seems like your doing more or less the same trip as us😂

The missus and I are heading to Spain on our first adventure next month...I've been very apprehensive about park ups so thanks for making my anxiety levels come down (!!) - My only worry is the grey waste...we have a van the same as yours but my underslung tank has a small (slow) tap at the tank.....not sure how we can dump the grey..is there drain covers at these stops or do people pull over the gutter drains at the side of the road when travelling to the next destination...its only sink and shower waste water, is it allowed?
Have a great trip, no need to worry about them too much most are good. Waste points lots of places x
question? how do you find a parking space in a city or a willage for a long wheeled van...I suppose it is hard to find a place where you can park.......or where you are allowed to for that mater,,,,I went a few times with a ford nugget but he is shorter and with a pop up he is more hidden it doesnt look all that like a camper van....but we did it for 14 days at a time with pre planed route.
How hard it is doing it in the spurr of the momend?

Hi Rob, to be honest we have found it easier as we’ve downsized from the Motorhome to the camper so we are a metre shorter. We much prefer a non planned route as it does give us flexibility in case we do need to change them in case we cross any of the problems but to be fair we haven’t had to turn away from any where yet XxRR

Hi been thinking about doing something similar to yourself.i have to young children age 5 and 3 how do you get round the school bit and unless you or your husband are teachers by profession they will fall behind with there education this is what putting me and my partner off can I ask how you deal with this very important that there education doesn't suffer because we want to see the world this is a genuine question and not me trying to be nasty really are looking at doing this and the kids are the main reason why we won't
Hi David, we aren’t teachers husband is a carpenter and I’m a paediatric nurse. We don’t stick to the curriculum but ensure they are up to date with maths English they are primary age so they need to be able to read and write. But, ours will return to school although have a broader range of skills in preparation for comprehensive school such as history, geography, RE and culture plus hopefully some common sense in there too hope that helps

Totally wrong to park parallel, sorry but you should be setting an example. Basically you've used two spaces irrespective of how long or how not busy it was it's wrong

@@TheRollingRucks First thing I noticed you arrived and parked parallel, there's no excuse. Moving later or the next day isnt acceptable, when you arrived you parked parallel and claimed a fence for drying. 🤷♂️
