David Tennant is my favorite Doctor on DW. Ironically, in real life, David is married to Georgia, the daughter of the 5th Doctor played by Peter Davison, who played Job in season 2 of "Good Omens." Oh, and Georgia was in a 2008 episode of Doctor Who while David was the Doctor... and Georgia refers to Michael Sheen, Aziraphale, as David's other wife. Was that dizzying to follow. I look forward to when you get the David Tennant episodes of DW.
Aziraphale is so cute and anxious just before he asks Crowley to dance. And I love that Crowley just does this ridiculous dance despite the circumstances.
The unconditional love that Crowley has for Aziraphale is so endearing. He’s actually going to Heaven to save Aziraphale and he calls out Gabriel for his actions against Aziraphale in season one. I get a lot of grief for my opinion but it’s mine and I believe it. I think Crowley loves Aziraphale completely and unconditionally and Aziraphale loves Crowley but with conditions. His religious trauma prevents him from embracing Crowley completely. I love Aziraphale with all my heart but I just want to shake him sometimes! Lol I’m so excited to watch Dr Who with you! It’s campy and cheesy and a lot of fun!
Don't agree that Aziraphale has conditions, more that he is very torn and also that there's information he doesn't have and he also isn't as confident, when Crowley said he lost his best friend, he totally thought that was someone else. I think he's not as secure as Crowley.
If he acknowledges what he believes deep down, that Crowley is good, was always good, and should never have Fallen, that would be the ultimate admission that God was wrong. That what God did to Crowley was a terrible crime. that's his whole worldview hinging on keeping just a last tiny bit of distance between himself and Crowley. If Crowley is a demon with some good in him that could be saved, that could be ineffable planning. If Crowley was wrongly condemned and treated he was evil and disgusting for the last 6000 years, it means the god he worships isn't just fallible. She's also a dick.
The last time Crowley would've been in Heaven was the end of season 1 when he was disguised as Aziraphale. Other than that, I'm guessing the last time he was in Heaven with his actual face was before the beginning, somewhere between when he and Az met as angels and the time when he was the snake in the Garden of Eden.
Crowley deliberately getting himself "arrested" is a classic Doctor tactic. Get arrested => get taken to the head honcho villain(s) => villain(s) proudly explain their brilliant foolproof plan => Doctor works out how to foil their brilliant foolproof plan => Doctor saves the day. (Not *exactly* what happens here but I imagine Crowley may have seen enough Doctor Who to have gained some inspiration.) BTW There have been fanfics where Crowley and the 10th Doctor meet, and the resemblance between them goes right over Crowley's head every time. Come to think of it, I don't think 10 has ever seen it either. 🤣
fun fact: the "wait and see" line is a nod to all the Good Omens fans who kept asking Neil Gaiman about plot points for season 2, and every time he would just respond with "wait and see"

A lot of people skim over this in favor of fawning over the romantic setting, but it deserves mentioning that Aziraphale’s ball is kind of unsettling. I mean…an eldritch entity so fixated on creating his own perfect little world that he controls the clothing and behavior of the mortals around him? Nina recognized that nobody knew how to dance but somehow were dancing anyway, and Aziraphale’s miracle failed on Maggie. There’s something different about those two that I really hope they explain with something better than plot armor.

I don't think using the expression "they are toast" (or tost.e) was a random choice, specially saying that so emphatically to Jon Hamm. "It's toasted" is, after all, the first of many Don Draper iconic moments from Mad Men.
