This is my current struggle, for years I’ve been able to read code, I’ve been able to edit code and properties but ask me to free hand write code and I’ll mess up functions and make errors, therefore if I use copy paste method or could talk and say like, okay now we need to make a function and link it to the player and character and build code like I’ve been using AI to write the functions and just talking and it’s the furthest I’ve ever got to a complete full game.
I know data stores so that helped too
Practice writing code all the time!
Videos are great as always! I like seeing the real progression with development and not just seeing success. It's a lot more encouraging for people just starting out to know it's a struggle for everyone and it takes time (years .. ) to get to a high level like what you produce. Stay motivated and keep working - the finished product will be amazing!

Nice. As a scripter working on Roblox projects I'd say I never met enough "success" to be able to make it a job but it's been fun over the years and I'm always pushing the limits on what I can do. Learning is fun!

I've been making Roblox games for almost 5 years, and I only recently started understanding scripting, and this video really gives me the motivation that eventually I won't have to rely on toolbox scripts, and YT tutorials.

man ive been doing roblox studio the same amount of time yet i was so lazy that i ended up learning scripting and building and the entire app + blender before making any big game
Ive been doing animation and VFX for a year or somethin, I havent been taking it too seriously but I can make some decent stuff.
Im planning on learning scripting soon so I can start making some small projects

What type of plugins did you use for making the terrain? Because some of the rocks and other parts look like the duplo rocks with all the different types of sides.

i accualy played the game about chopping down trees and mining these rocks when it was still up, i remember being in some lava zone. i was like lvl 175 i think.

Unfortunately not. I think production fell through would be my guess as it wasn't too organised of a project. There is a demo though that you can find if you'd like to play around!

As an experienced scripter on roblox I think it impossible to find literally anyone with talent. Theyre all already taken, or moved on to another engine.

I would like to know where I can find so many objects to create my map.
Idk if you guys are just slightly oblivious and unaware or just young, but this guy's been doing this for 5 years and has only made 300 - 400k robux cos he has only stuck to building in which he hasn't even improved too much on, todays standards on roblox his building is probably considered a 5/10, average, which is really bad for 5 years to be frank, he really should learn other attributes to game development like VFX or 3D models, scripting is a must if you're passionate about game development.
