In the dark light environment in your video, there is a window in the back, which is still very bright. We recommend that you find a scene with the same background for testing. As for the comparison to a mobile phone, hope you understand that some manufacturers currently optimize their AI algorithm and adjust imaging colors to improve the image quality of photos captured by their mobile phones. As such, some photos captured by some mobile phones are better than those captured by DJI Osmo Action Series products. Compared with mobile phones, the DJI Osmo Action Series products are mainly applicable for scenarios to free up your hands, such as cycling, diving, surfing, etc. In addition, the RockSteady stabilization technology of DJI Osmo Action Series products comes with an intelligent anti -shake algorithm, which can check camera vibration in each direction and offset it effectively. Thanks for the comment. Again, I understand I’m using an Action Camera for other purposes but with that being said, I don’t think it (maybe just my model) performs well with low light (used it with window closed and open). But it’s overall a great action camera for outdoor use!

Keep in mind that with any camera. You should not be filming with the light (especially) natural light at your back. The light should be facing the subject you are shooting for the best results. Hope you didn't have to pay shipping costs for a camera that wasn't defective.
