Strike Two: Iron Man comes flying in, talks about what he's made of, and Megaman points him out and remembers him, but Iron Man doesn't remember poor Megaman. Strike Three: Zero comes in, Megaman gets pissed, and sends him out as in "Three strikes, and you're out!!" All three from MvC3, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, and the stupidity and greed of Capcom! Let's just be clear in case anyone is years behind on the news...Goku and Superman are too powerful for Smash Bros., and they would kill everyone on screen in less than a second. Clearly, the people who requested these characters were really not properly measuring these obvious types of issues. Then there's Ridley.
Nah, it would be really easy to make them to where they wouldn't be broken. I think Goku wouldn't be in because of the fact that he's not really a video game character. Sure, he does have video games but he comes from anime and manga. Superman coming from comics AND I'm pretty sure after seeing Superman 64, no one wants a game with Superman on any nintendo system ever again. Ridley is too big, that's all I have to say for him.
Olimar shouldn't stand a chance against over half the roster, but there he is standing his own with pikmin who are far stronger then they are in their games.
This was the same discussion they had with sonic saying he was too OP for smash and he shouldn't be in the game, but then they came up with this magical thing called "balancing". Same could be done for goku and superman, but they didnt include them in smash bros because they aren't video game characters
Actually, Goku and Superman have actually been well integrating into gaming along with characters from their universes. Some examples would be the Batman Arkham games, The Injustice games, and the Dragon Ball fighting games that literally let you play the episodes instead of just watching them. However, I say Marvel characters would have at least a slightly better chance of getting in because of the Marvel vs Capcom games, however even that clearly seems too far fetched even for Smash 4 because there were characters that should have stayed in the series or should have been put in from 1st party developers, let alone further 3rd party developers getting more characters in. Maybe one day, every known fictional character in gaming history will be in Smash by some sort of useful pre-made customization feature where you can make any character well balanced into the game.

Now that I think about it, Optimus Prime and Zero have a lot in common. They're both excellent fighters, they both lack the fear of death, they're an icon and an idol to everybody around them, both willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good, and they both have died and have come back to life not once, not twice, but many times before.

Jack Kahler That probably wouldn't make sense considering that the sound files are from Street Fighter itself, though if there was no sound file and they just found a random "Ryu" File, then that would be a good speculation.

The whole Zero and Mega Man thing was a reference to how Mega Man was not in Marvel vs Capcom 3 but Zero was. At least that's what i think its supposed to mean.

Let's just be clear in case anyone is years behind on the news...Goku and Superman are too powerful for Smash Bros., and they would kill everyone on screen in less than a second. Clearly, the people who requested these characters were really not properly measuring these obvious types of issues. Then there's Ridley.

I think Goku wouldn't be in because of the fact that he's not really a video game character. Sure, he does have video games but he comes from anime and manga.
Superman coming from comics AND I'm pretty sure after seeing Superman 64, no one wants a game with Superman on any nintendo system ever again.
Ridley is too big, that's all I have to say for him.
Olimar shouldn't stand a chance against over half the roster, but there he is standing his own with pikmin who are far stronger then they are in their games.
This was the same discussion they had with sonic saying he was too OP for smash and he shouldn't be in the game, but then they came up with this magical thing called "balancing". Same could be done for goku and superman, but they didnt include them in smash bros because they aren't video game characters
Actually, Goku and Superman have actually been well integrating into gaming along with characters from their universes. Some examples would be the Batman Arkham games, The Injustice games, and the Dragon Ball fighting games that literally let you play the episodes instead of just watching them.
However, I say Marvel characters would have at least a slightly better chance of getting in because of the Marvel vs Capcom games, however even that clearly seems too far fetched even for Smash 4 because there were characters that should have stayed in the series or should have been put in from 1st party developers, let alone further 3rd party developers getting more characters in. Maybe one day, every known fictional character in gaming history will be in Smash by some sort of useful pre-made customization feature where you can make any character well balanced into the game.
