Had Ford stayed with the 5.0 and 5.8 windsor engines,there would be plenty of more parts out there yet. These companies look at everything from a business standpoint and most companies feel the OHC engine is more practical on a marketing scale even tho they hog the engine bay somewhat but who are we to question corporate? You can still new OHV windsor crate engines but it would have been great to continue technology and production as a second choice.
People are getting the message more and more because if you are seeing more and more Ford crate motors such as Coyotes and 347 strokers going in the Ford street rods..

My dad remembers the Ford 351Ms,400s very well including the 360 Fords.Could not keep bottom ends in the 351M and 400 Fords.My dad has replaced crankshafts in these two a lot.The Ford 360s,the bottom ends exploded apart a lot.

But it doesn't really surprise me though. For the last 8yrs I've been working as a automotive mechanic and have had the misfortune of using the spark plug removal tool on more 3v triton motors than I care to. So as far as I'm concerned I'll take the crappie Chevrolet motors, at least they haven't screwed up a simple spark plug change.
To bad it's not really a Ford.. The only reason they sell these is because it's a kit car, that's neither a Ford or Chevy.. lol. And it's to bad that Ford is now China motors.. And it's great the government helped save thousands of peoples jobs, and that GM paid back that loan in full.. SWEET!!!!
