I didn't agree about Daniel started the rivalry in first film between him and Johnny but I know Daniel's daughter Samantha did start her rivalry with tory with miguel/robby,etc. And still acting like she's the victim. And it's the same thing with Daniel's son Anthony and his friends picking on Kenny. I could tell it was sorta peer pressure but he's old enough to stand up to his friends,etc. Now he's paying the price.
I liked the small scene with Anoush. I feel like they should have replaced CarMax with "Cole's on Venice" as it would have set up Anoush eventually leaving Daniel in S2. I wish they kept the scene with Johnny's friends in the actual show because any interactions with them and Johnny is great!!! I also REALLY wished they kept in the scene with Stingray and Kreese. Any mention of Nam is great and I like how it would set up something for later in the episode as Kreese tells him to go hide and in the actual episode that is how he wins at Kayode Creek.
Was it true jason David frank gonna be on Cobra Kai or just a rumor? I thought I seen a video of him saying if showrunners ask him, he'd be glad to cause I think he's a fan of the show.
