    Of all the videos I've seen regarding this revolver, this one captures the beauty of the blued finish the best -- absolutely gorgeous piece.

    beautiful revolver! GREAT review, thanks for taking your time to do this for the firearms community! I am fortunate to own an MR73 and a Korth Mongoose. I agree with your comment about best combat vs best target/competition. That's pretty much how I see it. End of the day though, if I can only keep one it's the MR73!

    had a match modified 82 mr73 used for international center fire match back then. that trigger action,particular with the short sear engagement, just insanely sweet. It's basically the hammerli 208s for 22 as for 38 revolver..

    Probably the best factory revolver ever made. You get what you pay for, but damn that's a lot to pay. lot of gun in return, but still. Would love to see something of this quality in .44 Magnum or, better yet, .500 S&W Mag. a wrist breaker manurhin sounds sick.
    Barretta is amazing. I prefer them for my carry options (i carry DA/SA semiautos, currently a used 84F Cheetah, but i love the 92 and PX4), though sig and arex get good marks in my book too. but they also managed to get to be ones in charge of the best revolvers out there, and also make some of the best shotguns and get to import Tikka and Sako? the Ws go to the Italians i guess.

    What process did you use to pay for it over time?

    • @CasualFirearms
      @CasualFirearms  5 месяцев назад +1

      Basically I got it from EuroOptic, and at the time they didn't have it in stock, so what they told me was that I could make a down payment, and then pay off the rest of it in whatever increments I wanted until it arrived (these can take up to 3 years to arrive). If they already have it in stock, you only get two months to pay it off

      @@CasualFirearms how long was your wait?

    • @CasualFirearms
      @CasualFirearms  5 месяцев назад +2

      I initially asked for the 6 inch, but after some time I saw that the 5.75 inch became available, so I asked if I could switch my down payment from the 6 inch to the 5.75 inch and they let me. So I only waited a little over a year, but if I had stuck to the 6 inch I probably would've waited a lot longer

      If you decide to get yours polished and Blued, I would recommend mostly using it at the range so that you preserve the bluing. I've taken it to the range several times and I love shooting it and it still looks great. If you're planning on carrying it, I would just go for the stainless version. Also I should add that you need to be extra careful that you don't drop or scrape it against anything if you send yours off to be blued. I usually shoot this and my manurhin with shooting gloves on

    When people ask whether the Mr73 or the Korth will be better, all they have to do is look at archive footage of Mr73 training ruclips.net/video/ET0DzEnbgBM/видео.html, watch real combat footage with the Mr73 ruclips.net/video/eA7fzzDk1Xk/видео.html or like here during a real air jacking that saw all the hostages freed unharmed and all the Islamic terrorists eliminated by the GIGN using the Mr73 in less than 2mm.
    And try to find one with the Korth?
    Either you're looking for an exceptional and more than legitimate combat weapon, or you're just looking to look good on a shooting range.
    Wouldn't the most important thing be the quality in real combat on which a weapon should be judged? Give us all the GIGN tests on Korth revolvers and we might have the beginnings of an answer concerning this brand.
    Cordially from France

    • @georgemhaylov7252
      @georgemhaylov7252 25 дней назад

      So in France you have never heard about rifles and have to use revolvers. Do I have to tell you that any cheap AR-15 is more accurate than a $4k gun? Korth is all about attention to the details, not how many thousands of rounds you can fire with it, without showing any wear. That being said, I may have MR73 in my collection soon but nothing to do with the reasons you mentioned.

    • @HappyCulteurs
      @HappyCulteurs 24 дня назад

      @georgemhaylov7252 So let's calm down, my comment is not there to justify the high price of a weapon simply because it has been used in combat. My comment states that of the two revolvers, only the Mr73 is a combat weapon beyond being a police weapon, and that this Mr73 has been used all over the world in operations you'll never hear about.
      As for your disparaging comment about unused rifles in France, we come to the aid of American units in trouble as soon as they leave their barracks on an almost daily basis, such as the two CIA agents whose lives were saved in Mali after being kidnapped by local Islamists, but who returned home unharmed. For this, two operators of the “Royal French” Special Forces died to go and exfiltrate your under-trained clowns.
      Mr73 cleaned up more shit and helped change the diapers of Americans engaged in Africa or afgha and yet your trouffions were carrying your famous AR15s. The French don't make a fuss, they just do their job and move on to the next one.
      You don't buy a gun to grow some balls, you buy one to defend your life, or because you like collecting guns. Protect your right to do so and you'll start moving in the right direction in life.
