Hola Alberto. I enjoyed this video for a number of reasons. I always enjoy a tour of a convento. Someone appears to be doing a good job of restoring this ex convento. 9o years ago the convento was mostly in ruins, and even 40 years ago the four porteria arcades were a pile of rubble. In 1930 the only part of the convento that was more or less intact was the cloister arcades. The cells were in ruins. There have been a few changes to the ex convento since 1930, primarily to the sacristia y bautisterio. That would be the large room off of the cloister that you showed. The plan made in 1930 showed the two doors to the nave and two other doors to rooms off of the sacristia, but it did not show a door to the exterior on the east wall nor a west door to the cloister. The convento fell into ruins as the result of at least one fire that occurred during Mexico's various wars. I couldn't tell for sure but there may have been an attempt to restore some of the cloister murals. The murals in the apse have been restored. In 1930 there were people who remembered the original altar, which was apparently very beautiful.
I don't drink, as I have mentioned before, but I was impressed by the dedication to craft and the sincerity of all of the pulque makers, and I wanted all of them to be winners. There is no shortage of horses in the state of Hidalgo. All of those horses made for an interesting parade. I don't know if it is still true but within the last few years San Diego County, California, where I live, had more horses than any other county in the US. Are you planning more parts to this feria in Zempoala? Stay well.
Good afternoon William; What you say about the improvements you see in the ex-convent is very interesting. I even had to see the parts annexed to the church in ruins as well; It was because it was named a magical town that they put more interest in restoring it because they even tell me that a few years ago there was also an atmospheric discharge that damaged part of the building and a tree. This region still has the trachiqueros obtaining pulque and also in recent years support has been given to recover this tradition and people again consume it regularly.

Jeje , tengo varios contactos de turismo y avisan , aparte hay una pagina por estado donde puedes consultar , por ejemplo para el Edomex " donde hay feria en el estado de México" y asi en cada uno de ellos , nomas cambias en nombre del estado , saludos.
