when I was a kid, I lived in Michigan. I remember hearing exactly this sound at night in winter. You would wake up the next day and all the roads were covered over sometimes. People went grocery shopping via snowmobile. I live in Florida now, and believe it or not, I miss the cold sometimes.
I understand what you mean about snow. This is why I couldn't move to Florida because it never snows there and I would be miserable!, haha. I'm in South Carolina right now and it doesn't snow much here, but I may consider moving somewhere where it does. I love snow, too! As long as it doesn't snow more than 3-4 inches.

I live in Texas so it’s REALLY hot here- 106° but heat index makes it feel like 113°. This helps put me in a cool place in my mind so I can sleep.

I make a tent out of the bed, open a window so there’s a slight cool breeze.. I then use my iPad as a crackling log fire (on RUclips) and place it inside the tent. I then put This blizzard video on my Alexa and place alexa near the window (so it sounds like it’s from outside) Inside my bed tent I have a sleeping back and a small glass of whiskey. Night night everyone x

Okay not even gonna lie all those "You can do it" and "Worry not about your problems" motivational posters always fell flat with me because, well, you NEED to worry in life, otherwise you're gonna wind up homeless or something.

I'm with you! Winter is my fav. season. I would love it if summer just got totally cancelled forever! I don't like sunshine or heat, so here in central NC, I try to hibernate as much as possible from May (sometimes even April) until September (sometimes even October). It's kind of comforting to see that I am not the only person who loves cold weather!

I have wondered that as well. I was born in early December and my daughter (now 22) was also born in early December... Not only do my daughter and I not like the heat of summer or the sun, but we prefer rain over sunshine, gray skies to blue ones and nighttime to day. When my husband retires I would like to take a trip to Alaska during their long winter. the sound of a winter storm gives me a sort-of placebo effect of thinking it must be chilly which really helps me sleep during summer.

I have been falling asleep to this for almost 3 years...it just reminds me of when I was a youth in northern Idaho in the winter. It was truly this sound.
It must be only me that hears all the annoying sounds in the background freaking me out and impossible to sleep

Listening AND watching from South Africa. Can only dream of weather so beautiful. To me, that is. We live in a warm, sunny country with mostly hot weather; short winters and my favourite: Lowveld Thunderstorms (when you are lucky, to end a hot day). Though very different to the snow, the thunderstorms are just as relaxing to me. Thank you for the dream wonderland you created! God bless all.
Also from south africa. From the north west province. Ive never in my life got to experience snow. To expensive to travel to countries that have it. However ive heard that drakensberg within south africa has very heavy snowfall. Never been there though

We decided this is the perfect time to get a coffee, eh?
It has started to snow, blizzard even,
The warmth inside is calming,
The fluttering snow outside is calming,
The sound of the snow falling is also pretty.
I love it when it snows.
We get snow up here, I'm on the borderline of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Crazy winters.

I am lucky enough to have a trail like this near my home. I actually walk to work most days. The last big snow we had , the path looked just like this.
