This reminds me of being a kid we lived by this wooded area with a lot of pines back in the early 70s when winters were like this in michigan. Good times great memories. ❤️
Same here, I grew up in Minnesota in the 70's. It would snow 2 sometimes 3 feet during a blizzard. It would get so cold at night that you could hear the trees splitting in the woods behind the house at night. I remember my folks being very worried that we wouldn't wake up in the morning because we lived in an old farmhouse with no insulation and had a wood fired stove in the basement for heat. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.
I actually live in a Cabin in the Woods atop a mountain valley high hill and experience this type of weather a few times a year ; off the grid with a wood stove : cozy , comfortable , and secure .
At last a real sound of a beautiful snow storm with real images..it's soo relaxing and soothing ..I just close my eyes and imagine myself in a cosy tent with the wind shaking the canvas..while wrapped up warm with a hot drink ..then drift in to the land of nod..thanks for posting..

I love the sound of the wind..and thoughts of the snow blanketing the earth…I picture how the animals are snuggled somehow keeping warm..where are all the birds and wow how great God is to be able to take of each creature as well as us..like Amara int e comments I pray you will have a roof over your heads and know that God loves you.
I love snow but, when zi also hear the roaring wind, it takes me back to my childhood hearing snowstorms blowing in or thunder storms the lightning cracking and booms of the thunder I just loved to go to sleep too . I still need a fans noise also.

I remember my childhood and my village when I saw windy snow..how beautiful those old days were..it was both scary,exciting and cold..and we used to come from outside..we used to come home..behind the wood stove, we tried to warm up.. Now I'm touched.. Ah ah where is he days
I worked in Fort McMurray from 2003 until 2011 and we had real Canadian winters that far north. In 1977 I worked at the North Pole for a few months. When the cold winds were blowing it looked similar to this. We had hand lines to walk along between buildings so that if there was a whiteout, we wouldn’t get lost and wander blindly through it.
I never really thought of snowstorms as being relaxing since I live in Canada and tend to have negative associations with them BUT this is surprisingly soothing to listen to. I will give it a try tonight! Thanks so much :-)
