Wow! A Nora Corbett retreat! Fantastic! Congratulations! Part of the fun will be the planning! Enjoy! Love seeing the progress on your projects. Another great video!
Congratulations on your finished Mirabilia. Wow on your very large full coverage WIP...it will surely look great once it is finished...soon...happy stitching
hi carolyn…i continue to be so thrilled to see you back!! u were my very first flosstuber ages ago, and u continue to be a favorite. happy stitching!! 🪡 🧵
Just found out that you have starting making vodeos again. You was one of the first floss tube that i ever watched. Wips look amazing. Looking forward to seeing more videos
So pleased you are back! 🎉 You were the first person I found about 4 years ago when I first found flosstube and kept checking to see if you had a new video - the new name threw me… 😀
How exciting that you are going on your first stitch retreat. Yeah on finishing your mirabilia. I am excited to see it framed. Your wips are beautiful. Thank you Carolyn.
Always glad to see a video from you! I'm going to my first retreat in October in the mountains of Southern New Mexico. I have already told them I will be the quiet one in the corner.😊
Thank you Elaine. Ooh that sounds very interesting! You’ll have to let me know what it was like. I would love to do an OS retreat but I need to do some closer to home first I think 😂
Hi hun. Love all yr projects. Beautiful stitching. Love that Unicorn 🦄 piece. Just amazing. Enjoy yr retreat. Hope u have a fantastic time. Take care. Xx
Congratulations on your big finish and your little finish! I know you are excited to have Roses completed and off to the framers. Can’t wait to see the final results. Your mom will be over the moon.
Thank you so much. Yes I’m sure she will be quite overwhelmed as it’s been a long time since I’ve stitched and framed a design for her - and nothing like this beauty!!
Just love it when you post a new video 😊 I know what you mean about other crafts, never been able to stick to one. Watched this while sewing a teepee for my twin grandbabies. I have only one WIP, Emma’s Garden an old Lavender & Lace design. So, so pretty. Very pleased for you about the retreat!
Aww thank you so much! I think it’s important to share the fun and try new things. A teepee sounds fantastic - I’m sure your grand babies will have many hours of entertainment with it. I’m very familiar with Emma’s Garden - it’s a gorgeous design. I’m a huge fan of Lavendar & Lace designs 😍
So happy to see your back! I watched your videos religiously when I first discovered flosstube. I learned so much from you and I'm so happy you've started making videos again Love all your pieces! ❤
It is so good to see you back on Floss tube, Carolyn. It was pure chance I saw your last video and I am so happy to see you and your beautiful work again. You have been such an inspiration for me. I hope 2023 will be an amazing year for you.
omg love the aster biscornu, I paused video and went off to see what I could find I bought foliage and frosted they are beautiful. I am attending my first retreat in June I am so excited. happy stitching Patty
Oooh so happy to enable you! I couldn’t find foliage but frosted is very pretty - love her choice of colours! Make sure you let me know when you’ve done them - I’m sure yours will be fully finished before mine 😂😂 So very exciting about the retreat - where is yours being held?
Hi Carolyn so nice to see another video from you full of beautiful projects and yes I agree with you, framing is very expensive also here in the UK. I’m a big fan of Maribilia I have finished 15 of them and I’m busy with another one, so enjoy your retreat it’ll be a lot I’m so jealous, lol Blessings 🌹🇬🇧
Oh Ivone… 15 Mirabilia’s!!! Now I’m jealous. I’d love to know which is your favourite? And did you convert any or stitch as they were charted? I have so many questions 😂😂😂
The lovely Ronnee told me about your channel and I am so glad to have found you! I am going to the retreat too! Are you in Adelaide as well (I think Ronnee said you were)? I haven't booked my flights yet either but I can do that later. I've been to two Mirabillia retreats before (before my life all blew up too) and I can guarantee you are going to absolutely love it. Happy to share how I pack for them and what to expect there but you can be assured there is lots of chatting, some stitching and the chance to make lifelong friends. So exciting!!!
Thank you for your video. Your Mirabilia for your Mom is so fabulous! It really is exquisite! It was so nice to see all your WIPS. And very happy that you are going to the retreat next year. Take care and happy stitching!
I really enjoyed the video, great progress on your projects and I’m sure your mother will love Roses of Provence . It’s such a pretty and feminine project , can’t wait to see her framed. I’m so happy for you, to be able to go to the retreat, I’d love to go to one but there are very few and too far for me to travel now so I just enjoy watching others videos . 🙋🏼♀️
Thank you so much. I’m picking her up from the framers on Saturday and can’t wait to see what she looks like. I’m sure my Mum will be quite overwhelmed. It’s been a long time since I’ve made her a framed cross stitch and nothing to this magnitude. Very much looking forward to the retreat, and hoping it won’t be the last. 😍
Welcome back! Love watching!! A couple questions for you. First, what are you using for your large projects that you showed rolled up? Second, do you still diamond paint? I do both cross stitch and diamond paint. I hope you enjoy your time at the cross stitch retreat!! Would love to go sometime myself. Happy stitching!!
Thank so much Jennifer. I use a Millenium frame from Needleneeds in the UK. Fantastic frames and stands but their wait times are ridiculous now. I’ve actually just ordered some quantum frames made by Omanik which are very similar so hopefully I can try them out very soon and let you know what they’re like in comparison. I haven’t done any Diamond paintings in awhile but I do have quite a few projects ready and waiting for when the urge hits me 😂. I’m sure you’d agree that DP is great for those quick finishes we desire so much that we don’t necessarily get with cross stitching.
I am so happy for you to have the opportunity to attend the Nora retreat. Take several photos of your framed piece with you. It is stunning!! Can’t wait to see it❣️
Love som of your projects and your work is always so beautifully stitched. I have all the info on the retreat but haven’t booked….and only live a few hours from Brisbane. I’m a wanna be Mirabilia stitcher just haven’t started.
Thank you Maggie. I do hope you decide to go - I’ve heard so many good things about these retreats, and it would be awesome to meet up with fellow stitchers. Trust me when I say you will no longer need inspiration when you see how absolutely fantastic these designs are stitched up!
Absolutely beautiful stitching!!!!! We do have a place for custom frames here in the states too. I’ve used them before and I am considering them for my first HAED because I know it will be so expensive
Hi Angie, yes I have actually. I’ve seen some beautiful ones hanging from very ornate tapestry rods and thought I could possibly do that with my unicorn once it’s finished. I’ll have to look further into it as to how they recommend finishing it for hanging.
Thank you very much! Maybe you could organise a retreat - I’ve never been to Italy and would love to go. I’m pretty sure Dee Stitcher went to Venice many years back for a retreat and looks like she had a ball.
I’ve actually just ordered a couple of quantum frames, but will only probably take 1 set. I’m sure they won’t be too heavy. If so, I’ll definitely look into the qsnaps.. thank you for the recommendation 😍
Actually the mermaid was for me - it reminds me of my daughter when she had longer brunette hair so I think this one will go up on my wall. I have purchased a frame and was going to do it but now I’m holding off so I can take it to the retreat. It will get done when I return home. My daughter has always loved Ariel so I think I’ll do a mermaid with red hair for her.
Wow! A Nora Corbett retreat! Fantastic! Congratulations! Part of the fun will be the planning! Enjoy! Love seeing the progress on your projects. Another great video!
Congratulations on your finishes! So happy to see that bathtub mermaid finished, even with the parking lines. She's beautiful!
Thank you so much Elizabeth. Yes I was happy to finish her too… now she’ll spend an eternity in a drawer, poor thing 😂
Congratulations on your finished Mirabilia. Wow on your very large full coverage WIP...it will surely look great once it is finished...soon...happy stitching
Thank you so much James. At the rate I’m going it will probably be a couple of years away, but it will definitely be worth the wait I’m sure.

Thank you so much Sandra ❤

Thank you so much Christine. I can’t wait to pick her up from the framers on Saturday - the anticipation is making me quite anxious 😂

C’mon Dee, it’s not too late - it’s not until Feb 2024. Come on over and sit with me… we would have an absolute ball 😍
Have you considered hanging some of your big pieces like tapestries instead of framing?
Hi Angie, yes I have actually. I’ve seen some beautiful ones hanging from very ornate tapestry rods and thought I could possibly do that with my unicorn once it’s finished. I’ll have to look further into it as to how they recommend finishing it for hanging.
Hi Carolyn, very nice gift for your mom for Mother’s Day. TTFN

Aster biscornu is so sweet! Love it! Leigh/AftonFarm
Thank so much Leigh, it was a joy to stitch 😍
Take a few Qsnaps! They are lightweight and amazing!
I’ve actually just ordered a couple of quantum frames, but will only probably take 1 set. I’m sure they won’t be too heavy. If so, I’ll definitely look into the qsnaps.. thank you for the recommendation 😍
Carolyn perhaps you can frame the mermaid and gift it to someone you love.
Actually the mermaid was for me - it reminds me of my daughter when she had longer brunette hair so I think this one will go up on my wall. I have purchased a frame and was going to do it but now I’m holding off so I can take it to the retreat. It will get done when I return home.
