- Chosen by emperor Domitian himself, whose enthusiasm for chariot racing was legendary, Scorpus is now a member of one of the big four stables, called factions, who controlled chariot racing. At the age of 27, Scorpus has logged more than 2,000 victories, but he is also struck by the fate that many charioteers shared before him, and the greatest idol of his time dies in the sand of the race course. One year after Scorpus dead, Domitian, his patron and admirer, falls victim to an assassination.

We need a movie about Scorpus
What a GREAT DOCUMENTARY!!! ❤
I have to burst RALF BOCKMANN's bubble, but the largest circus outside the city of Rome of the ancient time, was the SIRMIUM CIRCUS (or hippodrome), with the length of almost 530m and that could hold more than 100K spectators. But I can see that no one is talking about that, nor the one of the capitols of the ancient Rome, which SIRMIUM was.
instead of prisons cost taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars lets have gladiator battles for dangerous inmates
That young charioteer and his scripts remind me of Maximus Decimus Meridius of Gladiator Movie.
It’s also a circus Maximus where I live.
Scorpus would be like Messi and Ronaldo in today's time.
I will be amassing if they make a film about him.
I see John C Reilly has become an archaeologist?
отличная игра
Watching the overweight, OLD dude who is demonstrating how to drive a chariot….I’m torn between admiration for his nerve-and fear that he’s going to break a hip …
" Scorpus Scorpus !! "
