I dont understand the mentality of young people these days. When we were young we respected ourselves and our significant other. It isnt hard to predict that the future is bleak.
It's partially due to the rise of social media culture, and the other part of it is due to the rise (and I'd argue complete control) feminism has had over the last century.
I could go on a rant about this but instead I'll just say women hold all on power in this because they have full control over sexual access so it all starts with how we raise our young women in this country.

Why would you leave? You'll need to think long and hard about it. You will struggle being alone and finding someone worth marrying again will go down if you have a divorce on your record. What have you done to try and help your husband to get back on his feet? Marriage is a partnership "for better or for worse" what did your vows say? There are only so many real reasons to step out of a marriage, all others are cop outs due to not handling the problems the right way.
